I give my son organic milk, but my nieces and nephews do not.
I send milk with him where ever he'll be somewhere he will be drinking milk.
I decided to give my son organic because a couple of friends have told me that they really noticed a difference in their children when they switched to organic milk & meats. The hormones, antibiotics and other things that the cow is injected with stays in the milk and in the meat.
I agree with those that have said, "we had regular & we are fine." True, but I feel like if I have the ability to give my son the best possible start, why wouldn't I? What's the down side of giving him organic milk, meat, fruit & veggies? That is what we have at home, but he does consume non-organic items when he is out & about sometimes, like at grandma's house. But it's not difficult for me to pack some milk, bananas, etc...so I do. I don't make a big deal out of it, I just say, "here, I brought some stuff for him."
You make a choice for your daughter that you will feel ok about, either way!
You are the best mom for your daughter and you will do what's right for her!!
I included a link with some info if you're interested.

Organic milk is better, especially for a daughter. Regular, non-organic milk has added estrogen (not a good idea for little girls) and antibiotics (not good for anybody who might one day need not to be resistant to antibiotics). Dairies give the cows estrogen supplements, so they'll produce more milk. Only problem is the hormone stays in the milk. They give cows antibiotics, so they don't all get sick. Same problem, though: the drugs stay in the milk.

And do what you'd like to do with the daycare. If you want to send in your milk, go for it. Good luck--

We opted for Organic for a while because of the hormones issue. Lately we've found a milk not using artificial hormones, though not truly Organic. It's what we're looking for for less $$$.

Organic milk is better. Avoid soy at all costs

Just try to buy milk that does not have artificial growth hormones. The milk bottle would probably say that it does not.

i would give her whatever you normally drink. it doesn't make sense to give her organic milk if no one else in ur home drinks it or if you aren't giving her an all organic diet. but the choice is definately yours. if you would like her to only eat organic foods then i say go for it!! and i would definately send it to daycare with her with specific instructions that she's only to have organic foods. good luck!!

Whatever kind you want is fine. Just try to stay away from soy. Usually soy milk has steroids in it so you don't want your children to have that. Just give her whatever the daycare gives her.

If you need to give a child cows milk (most dont need it) I would suggest organic. No hormones, no pesticides.

no organic milk is no better than regular milk........if you guys keep pampering your kids trying to protect them from everything and the things that you grew up on (and obviously turned out ok) all your doing is making their immune systems weaker....
