okay so me and my husbabnd have been taking care of his 8 yr old brother for the summer and i have noticed some really strange behavior as well as my husband has. he is infactuated with the devil has made comments about physical abuse and even drew a picture of himself committing suicide and the devil carrying him off to hell...this really scares me...he also is very angry and seems to lash out at other people...my husband and i are really concerned and decided that in about a year after he finishes college and we get a bigger place we were going to try and get the kid to testify and get custody but i am starting to think that a year is to long to wait and i know a foster home wouldnt be the greatest for him either...what do i do?
we kinda know that most of this is comming from his home life...he lives in minnesota and we are in california his mom is in jail his dad is abisive and in and out of jail as well i dont understand why anyone hasnt picked up on this but we dont have the means to provide for him yet

I'm so tired in the morning and sometimes when our one year old boy wakes up during the night and my husband tries to get me to get going and pitch in. I feel like he's calling me a lazy child that is more of a burden than a help and I haven't even woken up yet. Do you know what I mean?

The father of my granddaughter just got out of boot camp. He told my daughter that the Military doesn't think that the baby is his and they won't start an allotment until he has a paternity test done. HE was the one who signed his name on her birth certificate and the Military gave her a Military ID card. He won't tell my daughter where he's at or his CO's name so I have no idea how to find him. How do I go about finding him? Please help.

Is it okay to have kids share rooms? We have a two year old girl and are expecting our second here soon. We have a two bedroom house, and the bedrooms are decent sized (about 12 ft by 10 ft). I guess what I'm worried about is that the baby crying will wake up our two year old, or if our two year old gets up at night while we're sleeping and tries playing with the baby or covering the baby up and ends up really hurting the baby. Also, if the baby is a boy, then is it really proper for them to share a room? We bought our hose only two years ago, and we have to live in it five years before we can move or sell it. What are your suggestions/ opinions?

if your child, say in there 20s came to you and told all the things that they used to do to get away with things or hide things from you or just simply told you things that you never even dreamed that they had done would you feel, hurt, angry, would you find it interesting, or helpfull for your younger children. just how would it make you feel

Even if they are working and 'supporting' their own children, why are they so selfish as to not even consider the overpopulation and overuse of natural resources, plus the money it takes from everyone else's hard earned tax dollars to put these children through school and such?

My friend, Maryanna, is turning 49 years old and the last I've heard from were was that she didn't want any children!! Now she is getting married to a 33 year old Egyptian guy out in Egypt(legilization process for the U.S.) and he wants like 3 kids. If she decides to have his babies what are the risks and if she doesn't want them what do you think will happen to her relationship with this guy.

I'll be 24 in a couple of weeks. I also have a college degree. Last yr. My former foster step-niece was 15, going on 16 & told me I shouldn't ever have kids. That was BEFORE she got pregnant. Now she's 17 with a baby. How could a child tell an adult what NOT to do with their life & as a child, they do it? Does she think she's more grown than me?

A friend sent me this video clip. Just goes to show how smart little ones really are! Then again, we already knew that!

FYI, the clip is totally safe, unless you hate anything to do with religion. BTW I don't go to church, but I still think this is the sweetest thing ever!!!!!!

If you had a mother in law who:
a. put down everything you did
b. said constantly you didn't need to work - although you enjoyed it and it allowed you and your family to have less financial pressure.
c. complained about you taking your children on holiday abroad - saying you were only doing it for the benefit of your tan not so that the kids could enjoy it.
d. basically said that they were always right and you were always wrong.
Would you still want them to look after your children? Although you would probably be grateful that she did look after them - would all of the above eventually make you and your partner leave the children with someone else so that you don't have to put up with your MIL any more?
Do you think that the MIL would ever realise what pressure she is putting on your relationship with her son and with the children? Or would she carry on regardless determined that she is right?

Our grand daughter was registered today, and much to my sons disgust and due to a silly argument they had before they went to the Registry Office (they are both only young) the baby has been registered in his partners surname. They are both regretting it now, can anyone tell me if they can change her birth certificate so she bears his surname?

Okay. I'm a terrible parent. My 9 month old has always slept with me....and I admit, I loved the bonding. I think however it is causing her to get up more at night, plus she has started to think it is funny in the morning to do things like pull my hair and kick me to wake me up. Is now an okay time to move her to her crib. I feel guilty because this is a problem I caused. What is the best way to transition her? Also, fyi, she was 2 months early, so developmentally, she is probably closer to 7 months!

Thanks!

I asked a question concerning my son, as any mother I dream of him growing up and getting into a relationship. The only difference is that my husband and I are both bisexual and he was in a gay relationship for 9 years prior to meeting me. I asked about having feelings about wanting my son to be gay, meaning of course to grow up like his dad. Everyone, save for a few, bashed me and told me that I was a horrible mother and should give my child up for adoption. I was told that since my husband was in a gay relationship for 9 years that he would never truly love me. I was even told that it is people like me who give gay people a bad name. How is wanting my son to be gay any different from a heterosexual man wanting his son to grow up just like daddy? I even mentioned in the post that I would love my child no matter what and would never ever ush my sexual politics on him.

Is there really that much of a prejudice agains
