You are crazy. As some one here has already said:
"Your tax doesn't go up or down based on how many kids John & Jane Doe down the street have. The people you should be frustrated with are those that are on welfare and social security -- that keep having kids ... "
This person is exactly right and if people are working and supporting themselves then they pay taxes aswell so therefore your not really paying for them to get put through school at all really, are you. Also, there is no overuse of natural resources, just an uneven distribution of resources such as food ect. which is evident in the way most people in america are fed - infact most american's are overweight - and then many in africa die of starvation everyday. if you are talking about coal or oil or THOSE natural resources, then we should be trying to find other ways of energy anyway, which may coutries are doing so these children wont make a difference anyways.
Over population - i dont think the world is too over populated. There is enough resources and psace to care for everyone. As you can tell by China holding over a billion people, child restrictions isnt going to quickly and effectivly control over population.
Im assuming that your american, so America is a free country. if you dont like it, then go live in a communist coutry with a child bearing rule, like China. You sound very bitter, and although this is a good question, it seems you havent really thought through every possible answer...

There actually isn't an overuse of natural resources. There is a huge waste of resources. If our world learned to manage their food properly, eat sensibly, and not perpetuate a "throw-away" society, over population and consumption wouldn't be an issue. I am POSITIVE that you are just as guilty of this as any other, and more so even. Single people have less need to save and be aware of the cost of waste than a family.
No matter how many kids another person has, isn't going to change what you pay in taxes, and that family pays them too, on top of what is cost to raise one child, let alone more. Our government would still use that money on programs other than education, and would you really want that?

What does it matter if everyone has two children, or some people have none and those who wish to become parents have 5.
The birth rate in most developed countries hovers around two, which means the population is going to remain stable. Sadly most developed countries can't survive if population remains stable. Without a steady increase in population there will not be enough people working to support retirees and children.
So given that most developed nations population would remain stable without immigration I don't see how some people having 5 children is effecting the population of the earth or the bottom dollar on education.

People have as many kids as they choose and that's their thing not yours. You are not raising and supporting these kids on a daily basis so it's not your choice rather they have 1 or 2 or if they choose to have 10. My mother has 5 kids ages of 24, 20, 16, 6, and 2. They are spread out and the youngest live at home. My mother works for the government and pays taxes as well and can support her kids. It's not overpopulation. There is as many women who have lots of children to those who can't have children..so kinda evens out..plus the ones who can't have children adopt and usually adopt the babies from young teens or women who got preg. and didn't want their babies. So I think it evens out. I also don't believe they are "entitled" to have children..some love kids and want as many as they can handle. My mom would have more if she wants too but she is stopping. Do you have kids? The school systems are going to crap and aren't well funded anyways so doesn't matter how many kids there are we're still paying to get the schools better and to provide more for the kids to get a better education to keep this world and society straight and to hopefully make it better. Don't you want better education for all children yours or anyone elses or we can let them drop out and vandalize and become bad people that you have to watch out for b/c well you didn't like spending those few extra tax dollars for the schools?

I figure as long as they are supporting the kids themselves and are good parents why should anyone be able to tell them how many kids they can have. My mom had 5 kids and she worked to support us and didn't take anything from the government. Big families often are good for building character and kids that are hard workers at least from my experiences. This is actually helping the government by providing more tax dollars and funding the social security that they will probably never see a dime of. I would be more upset with the people out there that keep having kids and can't support them. I saw this guy the other day in court had 40 kids that he knew of with several women and worked as a janitor. His whole goal was getting women pregnant. Those are the people to direct anger towards not people building families and supporting themselves.

Gawd ****, spiteful, vicious and resentful, much? More and more people are choosing to either not have children, or have fewer children. Why are you so hateful toward the very, very minor part of the population that has more than the 'traditional' number of children. Are you even aware that just 100 years ago, it wasn't uncommon for people to have 13 kids? And if you think about it, a good chunk of people are weeded out through natural selection (car crashes, freak accidents, murders, etc.)
I happen to come from a family of six children. My parents didn't think they were "entitled" to us. In fact, my Mother didn't even -want- kids originally. "You were all accidents! Birth control doesn't work!" was one of her favorite rants.
The environment has always been there. It's going to deplete eventually, and it's still going to take longer than our lifetimes. We're constantly improving technology to use fewer and fewer natural resources and make more and more use of those already there. Eventually it won't even be an issue.
You, my "friend," are an ass.

That is the problem with the new world. People get too advanced and dont think about anything.
Its because of people like you that there are homosexuals out there having sex with men. Disgusting.
We are not entitled to have 4 or 5 kids. We do it because nature intented every living creature to reproduce. I am not telling you to have many kids. But something that is abdolutely unnatural is getting avorted. Use a condom if you dont want kids. But if you are expecting one, DONT KILL IT.
Have you realised the moronity of what youre saying?
The pyramid of ages Is way bigger on the top than at the bottom. People live longer and there arent enough kids. Taxes are higher because we have to build retirement centers, welfare and Bingo lounges for old people. While as there is not as many kids to support them. Elementary schools are becoming retirement centers for the elder.
Whatever happened to house mothers. Remember the times where each family had 14 kids. Parents lived well because they had 14 people plus their wives and husbands to look after them, and each of them paid less than if it was 2 kids...
5 million elders with 5 million kids - Example - Quebec
Kids make 80000$ a year right? No, Wrong, because half of it goes to the elder. What happened? Families decided that they should only have 2 children because food is too expensive and they are selfish and want their 100 pair of shoes, and their BMWs and their 500000$ house and all that useless crap...
More kids doesnt mean more problems. Well, yes it does, but it also means more solutions. How do you know that one of your ovulas mixed with one of your husbands sperm will not make the remedy for cancer? Or will be the first man on mars. WE NEED MORE KIDS.
Do you see something wrong in this?

So how exactly do you say you are paying taxes because of others. I believe parents can have as many kids as they want...as long as they can support them so they dont starve...
And after all kids grow up and its fun to have a big family where one or the other cares about you...
Those on welfare benefits...i guess the government has to be a little more cautious of how some of these people are getting benefits for no genuine reasons...well if you can make a difference go ahead...
But those who can support kids are ofcourse entitled to have as many as they want...you are talking about waste of natural resources. I see it as an addition to human resource....

People have a right to having there own family. Not everyone has the money to adopt children, it's not their fault. I, however did take it into consideration. I have 4 children, and 3 of them are adopted and I'm in the process of adopting 2 sisters. My husband and I have the money to support all of them, and we don't use the welfare system or government money.

I have four beautiful children, who are a gift from God, and they are no one's burden. I am a very successful business owner and I'm sure I pay more taxes than most. You know, I'm a patriot and I'm proud to pay my taxes. If I can help my country, I'll do it. If I can help the less fortunate, sign me up! My children give back as volunteers to our community and I am raising them to be contributing members to society.
As far as overuse of natural resources - that's pretty funny! We are vegetarians, we supply our own power from wind and water on our land and in fact, the utility companies cut me checks because I'm providing power for them!
Do everyone a favor and check your facts before you start pointing fingers. Worry about what a tax people like you are to society -- so far all I see is you trolling about the internet complaining. Worry about yourself first, the rest of us are fantastic!
