Given the choice, would you rather have your child be use drugs? Or would you rather have a child who likes to wear diapers? Both of which can feel good in different ways, but diapers do not cause any harm.

Btw I'm talking about all ages.. Which would you see as a real problem?

When I was in my very early 20's I was beaten and raped. I realized I was pregnant not too long after, I prayed alot about it and decided to keep my daughter. Now she is a beautiful, young four year old whom I love to pieces. Anyways, I am a strong christian and need some advice. Pretty soon, my daughter will start asking me about her daddy. What do I tell her? I do not really feel that telling her I was raped would help her self-esteem or benefit her in any way. DO you have any suggestions? Thanks!

How do you keep your house running smoothly? It could have to do with meals, books, tv, chores or after-school activties.

The show does not indicate what sex they are and the show is only meant for babies from the ages of 6 months to 18months.
Just cuz one of them holds a purse in one of the episodes doesn't make him gay. I know lots of little boys and girls that played with there momma's purse and they didn't turn out gay. People now days need to get a life and stop nit picking about a baby show.

I have been asked to be the cheer leading coach for my daughters team. My son plays on the football team. None of the mothers want to do it. If there is no coach there cannot be a cheer leading squad. I told the lady I would do it if none of the other mothers are willing to. I don't want to disappoint my little girl, she has been looking forward to this since last year. when she did it. I do not want to do it but for her I will. What do you think about a dad being the cheer leading coach?

before we start NO this is not about me and i dont care about the " u should pay for child support "

now to the question:::
my GF was telling me a story that if the dad of a kid can get the mom to sig a paper it will mean he gaves up all his rights to the baby and a plus to this is that he never has to pay child support (if that is so can the mom do it to the dad ? )

i have looked all over the internet but have not seen any thing about a paper or any other way of getting out of it only thing i every find is poeple saying "how u should pay for child support"

some have said u can gave up ur rights but u will always have to pay for child support (as long as the mom want to cont for it)

i do know that if the dad moves out of the USA it will be real hard for them to make the dad pay harder to find him that way lol

and plus say where u get ur info from if from a website plz gave the address ty for ur help with this

Well my mom is kinda strict so I tend to get grounded a lot. Like if she tells me to do something more than twice or if she feels I'm not respecting her enough, I get grounded. That means no phone, friends, TV, internet for usually that day, and the day after.

Well a week ago, I got grounded for forgetting to mail something my mom told me to mail. She told me to just go up and take a shower. I took a nice, long, warm one. When I came out, my clothes were replaced with my school uniform (skirt, polo, dress socks). I went to find other clothes to change into, but they were gone.

She said this was a new type of punishment. I had to wear my uniform (keep in mind this is summer) for 3 days when I get grounded. She even safety pins my shirt so it won't come untucked and I have to have 2 of the 3 buttons done on my polo. I can't use the phone, computer, or TV. But friends were allowed to come over and I could go to their houses (but why).

Is this worse than being grounded?

In addition, when I'm forced to wear my uniform, my mom has me run errands in town where I have to go outside in my uniform. It's so embarrassing!

my son snuck out of his bedroom window last night. i got a call around 3am. from my husbands friend, (who works late and was coming home.) and he said he saw him walking downtown with a friend, and it looked like they had been drinking. (beer can in one hand, and stumbling all over.) so i asked him where they were and drove to pick them up. i called his friends mom, and she came to my house, (we live 2 roads away) we kept asking them why, and how they got the beer but they wer to drunk and never answered. so now they both have a hangover. our question to you(we are asking together) is how do we disapline them? my husband says to smack him. should we? if not what else should we do? please help thanks.

I have a 14yr old boy and a 10yr old girl. My son will start highschool this year and will enroll for football. This means that I will have to go straight home for my daughter b/c her brother wont be home to watch her. I'd like to put her in an activity, since I read a good article to keep my kids active. Is this a bad idea? Or what are some good but affordable activites can I enroll her for?

My daughter is now 4 and a half and has started lying just about everything. She would sometimes hit her brothers and when her brothers complained she would say she didn't do anything. Or, she would take toys from home to kindy and when I asked her if she did, she would say she didn't. I tried everything, telling her it is not nice to lie, it will hurt my feelings, or putting her in time out. Nothing seem to work. When she tells me the truth, I don't get angry with her, instead I tell her, see when you tell mommy the truth, mommy won't be angry. I have ran out of ideas, I don't know what to do anymore. Please help!

I read a lot on here parents worrying about whether their kids are reaching the proper milestones at the proper time. When I talk to parents whose kids are now in their twenties and thirties and I ask about if they were worried when Jimmy walked late or Annick spoke later or whatever else, they always said "No, I figured they would eventually". Are there any parents out there still like this? Are parents too paranoid today?

I work at a restaurant. My restuarant closes at 10pm during the week. Tonight, a family of three adults (mother, father and grandmother) came in with two children (under the age of 7/8)

It was 9:45 when they walked in. They preceeded to order the kids pizza and ice cream (for dessert). The family was not over weight or anything; but it seem so that this is bad parenting.

I don't have children. However, I think serving their children such heavy food, so late at night is bad. I have nothing against seeing healthy looking, nice families w/ kids eating pizza if it's 6pm (in moderation too) But, by the time they finished dinner it was almost 11pm. Too late to be eating and too late for young children to be out.

I understand, kids don't always go to bed early. But, dinner at a restuarant at 10pm on a Wednesday night seems bad to me.

My son is turning 3 next month and he's not drinking milk like he used to. I dropped him off at my grandparent's house every morning and my grandparent is not giving him milk anymore. I still want him to drink milk. They're also watching other kids as well. I've bought plenty of sipper cup......but its just a waste of money. He doesn't like it.....and my grandparent does not follow through with it getting him to use it. He still takes a regular baby bottle......I just don't want him to use it anymore. I am a single mom, work all day long. I only see him in the evening. What can I do? and no I am not able to afford a daycare right now.

I read recently that you can only have 3 children, including your own, to watch at one time in your home with out being licensed.

What about if I were to have an additional adult as a helper, is it 3 total or 3 per adult?

Does any one know what the cost of getting lisenced is?

My kids are both in High School and I put one in my older son's car. I think it is the greatest thing! It gives me piece of mind when he is driving. He is a good kid, but a few of his friends have been racing. I am happy to know my son isn't, (at least in his car)

The Walmart store in my town has taken massive amounts of toys made in China and marked the price way down. I hope these are not the toys that have been recalled! I was looking for a toy for a birthday party but everything I picked up is made in China. I'm afraid to buy any of them. Can you suggest any toys for a 1 year old girl that are not made in China?
