I'm a Christian and I submit fully to my husband and I do role as a stay at home mom. I do clean everyday, but my house is not perfect and will never be and I'm ok with that. We have a routine and my kids are home schooled. Now it's summer so we have prayer time, bible time, we go to the park, library and my kids always help me make lunch which is usually kid friendly stuff

Write all the tasks you need to carry out on a list first. Then prioritize based on time sensitivity. For example if you're making a crockpot meal that needs to sit cooking for 10 hours and finish by dinner time at 6 pm. You want to prepare your meal around 7:30 am - 8 pm. If there are small things to do that don't take more than 10 minutes, like putting clothes in the laundry or putting dishes away in the washer, do all those small activities one after another so you feel like you've accomplished a lot ones all the small things are out of the way.

I am consistant in everything that I do. We are on a schedule for dinner, chores, baths, the whole nine yards. I am a single parent and am trying to provide a stable and consistent atmosphere that my kids will be able to count on. I know that not always is life perfect, but as a unit, my kids and I persevere. There isn't anything that we can't handle together and each of us knows that. And, that is how our house runs smoothly.

I do the little things necessary to keep everything in order every day. But also, everyday I try to do ONE BIG JOB, maybe it's clean out closets, scrub bathrooms, prepare meals for the week and put in the freezer, pull all the weeds in the flower garden, etc. Also, I take advantage of my 'alone' time and do one little thing just for myself every day....sip a glass of wine in a quiet corner, a long bath, or tackle a special project I've been looking forward to.

Yes, at the end of the day I am tired...but it's a good kind of tired. And I sleep very well at night.

You need a routine and a schedule to follow. It helps to organize the day so everything on the list can get done. The key is to always think ahead and be prepared. This works for me as I work very early in the morning and have to organize my schedule so everything I want to accomplish is done.
