That when parents have babies they always say "I can't wait till you hurry up and talk and walk" and then when they do the parents are always going "sit down and be quiet"?

Let's see...we gotta have a license to work in certain jobs, we gotta have a license to drive a car, hell, in some places you have to even have a license to FISH. Don't you think we could avoid some of the child abuse and neglect of children if parents were required to have a PARENTING LICENSE?

I feel like I am losing control! I have 2 wonderful children a 6 1/2 yr. old and a19 month old. I feel I have always been a great mother to my children, but lately I feel like I am being the wrost mother. I do not know what is going on w/ me. If seems like my 6 yr old never listens to anything I say anymore and my 19 month old just laughs at me when I try to use a strune voice. It got so bad today that I went into the bathroom and just cried & cried! I feel when my children are doing something they are not suppose & I am trying my darnest to get them to listen, that I catch myself saying to myself "I can't stand you" Which is not true for a sec. not one bit. I love my kids to death and they are my everything. I seem to be very stressed lately. My husband & I just decided we wanted 2 try for our third, starting in Nov. but 2day I asked myself will I be able to handle another one. I love children and would love to have atleast 2 more, but why am I feeeling the way i have been?

I breastfed my girl for 6 months. She got sick with the flu, a cold and an ear infection during this breastfeeding period. My cousins twins, whom she never gave one drop of breastmilk to EVER, has been on Similac from day one, even stayed with mine while my daughter was ill. They have never been sick, EVER. If breastmilk is supposed to be so fantabalous, why did my kid get sick on it? Now she takes Enfamil with iron, and she has never been ill once. Less gas too. What's the deal with that?

I'm sorry, but I've never hear of this game. I don't live in the U.S. and never heard of anything like it here where I live.

Can you explain to me what it consists of? Just by reading the name of the game, sounds dangerous.

Thanks!

O.K. I went to bahamma 's on a cruise for 4 days on the carnival sensation, just got back this morning. The main pool with the waterslide was very small!!! My 8 year old daughter did not even want to go to camp carnival, not a lot of good activities on the so called camp carnival
!!!and I was very diappointed in freeport...what a run down hurricane island..it was not at all what i expected!!! I went on two shore exercuisions, one to a beach in freeport, that sucked..and to a dolphin encounter in nassau, nice but very short...not worth the money!!! did anyone feel like i do when they visited the bahammas and the excursions?

I'm a college student and a mom, and don't really have time for a job. I was considering babysitting, cleaning, laundry & ironing service, cooking, running errands, etc. This is to help my husband out.

I have a 22 month old that is still on a bottle. He was breast fed until 8 months of age. I had to go into emergency surgery for an appendectomy and wasn't able to produce milk after I came home. He was forced onto a bottle for the 1st time and then it became a security blanket. I obviously I took too long to begin the weaning process and should have started when he turned 1. Anyway, I recently decided that enough was enough and took it away cold turkey. I bought him sippy cups that have a soft silicone nipple, hoping that it would feel similar to the bottle. He refused it. Three days later he still would not drink from it,not even water. He started to show signs of dehydration, so when I called my pediatrician he said that I had to get something in him and to give him back the bottle.
I know it is not "socially acceptable" for a 2 year old to be on a bottle and would like to change this habit. I don't know where to begin to reason with him about this, it seems impossible. Any ideas?

I need a one piece outfit, preferably long legs and long sleeve, to have a football number embroidered on there by our local sports shop. They told me it would be best to find my own, but I'm lost! It's for my daughter whose cousin plays football and he adores her and this is a way for her to cheer him on! I don't necessarily want a cheerleading outfit.

he is being brought up in a christian environment where this is not acceptable. for ex: one brother has $ disappear from his room. the 7 yr old comes home from school and says he found $ on the ground at school. same amount ($5 bill) as what the older brother lost. many such examples. Will not admit to stealing.

If you know any one or are a person in this situation what was it like. Each time she was pregnant my parents wanted to kill her. She lives in a 3 bedroom apt. She works 2 jobs and her bf works 3.
