O.K. I went to bahamma 's on a cruise for 4 days on the carnival sensation, just got back this morning. The main pool with the waterslide was very small!!! My 8 year old daughter did not even want to go to camp carnival, not a lot of good activities on the so called camp carnival
!!!and I was very diappointed in freeport...what a run down hurricane island..it was not at all what i expected!!! I went on two shore exercuisions, one to a beach in freeport, that sucked..and to a dolphin encounter in nassau, nice but very short...not worth the money!!! did anyone feel like i do when they visited the bahammas and the excursions?

and i have no idea why they call it a 4 day cruise...it is really only 3 days as the last day, you have to be up at 7 a.m. to eat breakfast and off the ship by 9 a.m. so they can get ready for the new passangers and the first day, you are on the ship at 2pm not a whole day at all

I was also worried about getting seasick and let me assure the people that are afraid of seasickness....I did not!!! the ship was very smooth, we only rocked once and not enough for me to get sick...trust me, i get sick real easy with motion...the stabilizers on them ships are awesome

I think it is just the cruise line. I have heard similar complaints with Carnival. I took Royal Caribbean and it was great. All the excursions were just what I expected and the pool was huge!

Carnival is not considered one of the more pricey cruises. I think that's why they cut back.

They did the same thing to me when leaving at RC. You had to be out of your room EARLY, then go sit and wait to check out for over an hour. It is considered another day on the cruise, but it's not! It's all about the money.

If you decide to go on another cruise (or a vacation anywhere) check out what some of these guidebook sites and user opinions on your destination.

They all really help me planning a trip!

Did you get seasick?

I don't think Carnival is just good enough. I too just got back from a Bahama cruise with Royal Caribbean on Majesty of the Seas. I loved it so much when I went last year for the first time that my faimly and I actually did the same cruise again last month. It was lovely. We all had a blast especially on Cococay - their privat island - spent the day in the lovely Caribbean water. Next time you cruise, cruise Royal Caribbean!!.

I am not sure! I went on the Royal Caribbean majestic of the Sea and had a Blast! We stopped at a private island called coco-cay. It was so relaxing there. You are right about the last day thought we didn't even have a chance to get breakfast and had to leave the ship. They told us the night before we wouldn't have to leave the ship til around 9am so we got up and got ready to go to breakfast at 8 and they already had called our tag color to leave. We are planning on going again. But next time it will be longer.
