I unfortunately had to use it on my son when he was about 11 months old. We went to Walmart and they gave him a smiley face sticker that of course went into his mouth...next thing i know he is turning colors and can't breathe. I pulled him out of the cart and flipped him over my knee and did the back blows to him and it loosened up enough for him to start coughing/kind of throwing up/spitting until i could sweep it out of his mouth. THE most terrifying moment of my life. All in all, it was over in probably under a minute but I will never forget that very long minute. I have always been very careful what I give my children and the 4 other children I have in my in-home daycare and never thought twice about the lady at Walmart sticking a sticker on my almost one-year old. Thank God I have been CPR certified for nearly 10 years or I might not have had a clue what to do.

Yes I know CPR since I was 12 and I take a refresher class every year. I loved the hospital I had my kids at it was mandatory before you could take the baby home you took a CPR class. It is something important to know. You never know what could happen at home or anywhere.

I am trained in CPR for infant, child and adult. I think it is important that everyone that works around people and have children to take a course! It is good to know in case of an emergency and you will then have the training to help your child or someone!

I was CPR certified about 6 years ago. While I haven't taken the class in awhile I still remember how to do it. Not sure in that situation if I'd be able to keep my calm and try to remember everything. I'm sure I'd have that moment of panic.

Yes, I have a CPR license. Everyone should get one.

yes i know cpr. if your child is choking do the hemlic manuever,call 911 also

I don't know CPR so I would just stab a hole in the lower part of their throat.
