Not really worried just want your input?
My bf and I had sex earlier today without a condom but I am on the pill but I have been taking it a few hours late. I am going to start my period in exactly one week. My bf also didn't ejaculate because he thougth we were being to risky so we stopped. Do you think I am at a high risk of pregnancy?

My friend has just become a nanny. The parents live in a gated community, kinda of out of the way!!! They only have one child a little girl who just turned 2. They informed her that she cannot watch any TV and that it has to be all activity all day except for nap time. They won't let her take her out anywhere and if they go outside it can only be for a few minutes. What should she do and are there any ideas that she can use to keep the child entertained???

As soon as I came back from my honeymoon, I found out I was pregnant.
My wedding was a freeloading frenzy and it really burned me on my friends and family.
My new husband and I came home broke!
However, we love our family and friends and would like to include them on "welcoming the baby" with a shower but we are tired of being suckers.
We are considering having a shower at a restuarant and would like all of the guest to pay for their own drinks & dinner!
So, my big questions are

1. Should guest be given their own bill by the restuarant?
2. Should the host receive money from the guest to pay one big bill?
3. Should we have a set menu with a per person charge ($40 pp)

My step son is now stating (thanks to his mums encouragement) his dad is beating and verbally abusing him?
He has told the school and a number of psychologists that this is happening and he doesn't want to come here anymore! He spends more time with me than his dad but still gets special time with him and seems to be happy and thoroughly enjoying himself when he is at our house. This has come up as there are behavioural issues at school and the mother is blaming dad.

i had just given birth to a baby boy abt 3 mths ago.. but he had been adopted since the 1st day im being discharged.. i really really cant take care or raise him up due to very very personal reasons.. and the story is actually very long.. i decided 2 abort him but its too late.. i was at my 26th wks then.. till now, iv keep thinkin about my baby and sometimes i even broke down in tears.. i am the biological mum n yet i cant even keep him by my side.. he was sooo innocent and he knows nothing at all.. once in awhile i was allowed to visit him.. till now, i had been wondering.. Am I Still Considered His Biological Mum?? Because i had always believed that as long as we are blood related, we are still considered both mother and child even though he had been adopted and had gone through all the paper work.. maybe im just tryin 2 deceive or 2 console myself by havin this thinking.. soo...kind souls out there... can u pls help me by solving this out-of-mind or maybe a very stupid ques.. THX!!

Women have had contraception and knowledge about how conception works since before I was born. So why are there so many unwanted pregnancies?

Really, how stupid can two people be? -And NO, this is not a challenge!

-And NO, I do not care to hear about how your mistake is somehow OK.

-And BTW, I believe that an UNWANTED PREGNANCY is a mistake, not the resulting child. Just to be clear.

3 day weekend, to a wedding, we're not in it, so not too involved, but need a book for the plane. And dont want one a learning one about kids or babies, or some horrible story where a kid gets abducted, abused, medical problem, etc, and my wandering thru Barnes and Noble, seemed to be all those. Something "light" both intellectually and to carry. Typically in the past like the Oprah book club type ones, Candace Bushnell. Posting here cause I want moms' advice, as I havent had a chance to read a good fiction book in a long time.

Hello, I was wondering, what are the chances of having a child with autism are if a person has one sibling and one half-sibling with high-functioning autism?
To make it interesting, let's say I have a cousin with Aspergers' Syndrome, and my partner has the siblings with autism. Both of us are very healthy, but we're concerned about having a child with austism and/or aspergers'.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and got into a very heated argument with my b/f. We both said things that we shouldn't have, however, I think that he really made some really cruel personal jabs that have really got me worried. Up until this fight we have had a super loving relationship barring a few minor spats here and there. I do realize that being pregnant can cause a woman to be more sensitive, though the hurtful things that were said have changed the relationship overnight! This will be my first child and his second....I am feeling so lost at the moment not knowing what to do. If I weren't pregnant, I would certainly consider his words to be break-up material. The fact is in spite of what he said, I know deep down that he loves me, but what should I do if he actually thinks that little of me (as suggested by his comments)? We have been basically living together for over a year now. Being pregnant, I feel trapped. I don't feel I have any other options than to stay with him. please help.

What is with this current trend of women/girls having babies and then dumping them on their mothers to raise?

I see it all over the place and my sister is the same.

They have a baby and then decide it's too much work and the grandma ends up babysitting all the time while the children's mother just takes it easy. How completely unfair!

If you're going to have a child - be prepared to be a mother!

Sorry but does this make anyone else cringe?

I see so many questions posted in this subcategory that seem to be posted BY adolescents. While there is certainly a number of adolescents who are pregnant or who are parents, I think the purpose of the category is for parents OF adolescents to post their questions and answers. What do you think?

Is there another category within Yahoo! Answers that these children could post their questions about how to tell if a guy likes them or what not, besides in the Pregnancy and Parenting section? I usually choose to ignore the questions, but sometimes it is just slightly irritating seeing as how it is not in an appropriate category.

My son is almost a year old. He likes to drink water and juice and he just loves to eat. He eats all his fruits and vegetables.
My friend's 18 Month old refuses to eat any of his vegetables unless if it has lots of cheese on it. My younger cousins are still in gradeschool and they hardly eat any vegetables at all and are over weight (parents are too). I want to know what age kids start becoming picky eaters and what I can do to help my son keep enjoying healthy foods. I don't want to be a health freak or anything. He does get little tastes of sweet foods but not very often yet.

I want to get portraits done this Saturday for my son's 2nd birthday, but he cannot hold his head up, sit up, or smile. I'll be lucky enough just to keep him awake for the photos.

I just wondered if any of you could put your thinking caps on and give me good ideas of props/backgrounds/poses I can use. I will need to sit him up on something probably. He cannot lift his head up when he is on his tummy, so probably can't do that pose unless we happen to get really lucky.

I really want something cute and memorable. I just have no clue what to do.
