my son is 11 months old tomorrow and i got rid of his binky and 6 months and my daughter's binky was rid of at 3 months old. I hate seeing them in kids mouths that are too old for them. They look absolutely ridicilious. My sister's daughter will be 3 in may and still uses a binky. Yuk!!!! It's just a crutch for the child past 3 months old..They have no sucking need past that age. It's just to shut the kid up!!!! Deal with it...like i do instead of shoving a binky in it's mouth. who agrees with me?

Would you put your small children and a newborn in a car that sufferef minor frame damage as a result of a rear end collision? The body shop said they could straighten it out, but would other parents trust the frame to protect their children if it happens again? I need some advice because I'm not happy with the idea of straightening out a bent frame, doesn't that implicate that it wont be as strong as before and therefore not act as efficiently in the event of another accident?

I am a married 33 year old man. There is another couple that we are friends with. She stays at home. I stopped by their house one day at lunch to pick up something. I ended up sitting around for an hour just talking with her. Her husband is an hourly worker that is not allowed to come home for lunch. Well, it became common for me to spend one lunch a week with her. No sex just talk. Sometimes I would go with her to get things done in town so I could help her with the kids. I found myself looking forward to those days and becoming close to her. We stopped this about 3 weeks ago because of the appearance of it. We never had sex, talked about sex, or even touched. We just talked about our lives and what was going on. I know that we can not continue because of what others will say we are doing. I miss it though. I have thought about trying to find someone to talk to on the phone or email to have this kind of relationship. But it is hard to do. I have a pretty cushy management job what allows me lots of free time and that is both good and bad. Is it common for ladies who stay at home all day alone to desire a friendship like this?

I recently got my period two days before I was predicted to start. It started out normal but stayed brown the entire time. The last few days were very light, I wasn't even feeling up a pad. I had light cramping for a couple days. I started around when I thought I was supposed to and my period lasted its normal 7 days. I do not use birth control but my boyfriend and I use protection. I am 22 years old and am I usually have a regular period (7 days, 2 to 3 heavy red days, the rest are brown). I also took a pregnancy test during this "period" and the results were negative. Is this just an irregular period or am I pregnant?

Twins run in my family. My mom's grandma had a twin. none of her 3 kids were twins. None of their kids were twins. My mom and her brothers were not twins. Is it possible that I had a twin that died at birth? My mom said that she bleed a lot when I was inside of her. My mom's cousins are twins. My dad's grandma had twins that died at birth.

If you are marrying someone who already has a child for sake of example a girl and he says that his daughter will always come first is that the way its supposed to be? Should you accept that as just a consequence of being a step-parent? Or should that be a warning sign that maybe hes not ready to marry?

I have been in my current relationship for a year, we live together and up until this weekend we have a great relationship. Friday we recieved the DNA results from a paternity test. A month ago, an ex of his called and said he was the father of her son. She is currently pregnant with twins, and has a five year old daughter. For thier hook-up it was a one week fling. How do I know I can handle the situation and all the drama that will come with it? How do I make sure I stay involved, if I choose to be, and not feel like an outsider to the situation?

Basically even though he went on and on at me to get pregnant, he now has runs and refuses to pay. I know his family want to see the child and that is not a problem. Should he be allowed to see the child (he will definately not pay a penny and he is not on benefits and I will not get anything through the csa, for a good while as he has sold all assets and now living of the proceeds) I think he has shown no commitment to being a father and left my mother to help me out financially. I also have to move to a bigger house and have a larger mortgage. He also refuses to tell me where he lives, so do you men still think I should allow him to see his child at my house (he refuses to go to a contact centre which I suggested). It's not him seeing the baby it is him trying to be controlling and coming to see me when suits him and not telling me where he lives, work etc and not contributing. He also critises constantly and I cannot be bothered listening to him after the way he has behaved.

Im 21 years old, and my girlfriend is 22 we are both enrolled in college she is further along then i, she will graduate in May. Her family is very judgemental and strict my family is very supportive however somewhat displeased with past mistakes in the way of pot and partying, and expect out of me only good decisions. I have no home, no money, a 12 dollar an hour job, and i just found out on Sunday that my girlfriend is pregnant, my uncle owns a construction company and i might ask him to help me with a job, and a better than everyone else salary, and i might ask my grandfather which is who i live with for about 15,000 dollars for a down payment on a home, get married to my girlfriend, and have the child successfully in 7 months. Please pray that i find the words to go to my uncle and my grandfather for help.
