Don't panic...actually you are going to be a father. That is a huge responsiblity but also a true gift. My husband is in his early 40's and was terrified about having kids. We have a 2 year old son (and another on the way) and from the day he was born my husband has developed a love so deep that it is hard for him to comprehend how he made it this far in life without our son.
If you decide not to marry now.....Your girlfriend will qualify for state financial assistance that will pay for food and medical for her and the baby and daycare afterwards. Also single mothers qualify for tons of finacial aid for college or job training. In this time you can continue on the path you are on and pursue a career. You can take advantage of the opportunities provided if you remain single and then join your family legally on paper later if you wish.
If you want to marry her...like others said the military is a great opportunity to receive medical and financial benefits. The military has many careers don't think of it as being a guy in camo with a gun. You can become a chef, bookkeeper, mechanic, ect. And if the war thing scares you then check into the Coast Guard. They are the 5th military branch and do risk their lives daily to help others but are usually not on the front line of a war. They offer many of the same careers as the other branches but are mostly law enforcement orientated.
No matter what though...put that little one first. You will figure it out. Life will fall into place. Good luck.

There's a couple of considerations that need to be made. What does your gf do? What do her parents do? Are her parents able to assist? How much college have you done?
You can always join the military, but it may not be for you. There is state government assistance for low income families your gf can apply for so you can still go to college and get assistance for your child. It's all about planning what you want for your future and the future of your child. Sacrifices might need to be made but its for the better. College is important specially for the long run, it can make things much easier later on.

If you would like to make things work, you may consider going to school, a trade school on loans. It will take about 9 mths full time and will pay off greatly. You don't want to struggle for the rest of your life. Ultimately, you'll have to pay child support. You can marry her and live seperately, however, she can't tap into resources for single moms as easily. Support her as well as you can. She needs your emotional support as well. Good luck.

Look at her and ask her "What you wanna do?"
Its the only option there is. If she reverses it on you, just ask the same again and wait for the reply.
She will eventually answer with what she wants to do, you have one two choices, agree with her and remain friends or lovers, disagree and never see her again.
Her answe will either be I want to have this baby or I want an abortion.
If she says, I want to have this baby, get that ring out and propose. Then get a real job and live on.
If she says I want an abortion becuase we are not financially capable of properley takeing care of a child, get to a pawn shop, hock that ring and find an abortionn clinic.

i've got no longer even bothered to verify even 0.5 of what you wrote, no longer because of the fact it isn't any longer genuine, my wager is it is, yet because of the fact the matters you have come all the way down to 2 uncomplicated issues: a million) satisfaction; and a pair of) sin. If we take the 1st one, satisfaction, there is a great number of what you assert that comes all the way down to you telling her or letting her have faith issues approximately you or your plans that are no longer genuine. you won't be in a position to blame her in case you reported such and such and then she found out the stressful way that what you reported wasn't genuine. it is an argument which you're able to desire to handle, and it isn't any longer approximately you telling her, it is approximately you changing your coronary heart. you have come to a non secular talk board, so i'm guessing you predict to take heed to that Jesus does grant a answer, which he does: Love your neighbour as your self! the only way you could replace your coronary heart is via putting Jesus as first on your existence. once you do this, then he will replace your coronary heart, and while he does so then satisfaction will additionally be dealt with, because of the fact satisfaction is one form of sin. Which brings us to the 2d ingredient: sin. the certainty she gets jealous while a female rings is by way of the fact she would not have faith you ... no, you do no longer blame her for that, you're able to desire to blame your self. You created the mistrust, so which you're able to desire to create have faith. lower back, the undertaking of her wanting an abortion is by way of the fact she would not have faith you to assist her and the youngster, so which you're able to desire to instruct you would be depended on.

Listen man this is gonna suck. Im not gonna sugar coat it. You are going to have to bust you *** unless you want to spend the rest of you life bouncing checks and scraping by. I work full time and go to school full time and have a 4 month old and trust me it is freakin hard. There is a bright side however the govt is very very generous with giving young parent large amounts of money to go to school granted you dont have a drug charge. o yeah good luck and this may be easier if her parents are cool.

Get married as soon as possible, find a suite or low cost apartment to live in, and work your butt off to provide for your new family. Congrats! Wouldn't it have been easier to have kept it in your pants?

What is best for you and your new family? That doesn't sound like a good situation to raise a child in. Consider your options. Abortion? Adoption? As for now, focus your attention on getting a better job. That's the first step.

Marry her, join the military, and have a roof over your heads that is your own. Lots of people have gone that route and been ok. In the military you'll have job security, a house, and insurance.
