i m giving her breastmilk from bottle now.At hospital she was feeding from feeding tube.she direct feed only for 5mints once or twice a day because she find bottle easy.

My 6 year old son doesn't understand / ignores the meaning of beeing grounded from going out or banning from the tv, computer, games.After he ignores the punishment i doubled it but he ignores it again so we arent getting anywhere. How i should handle this problem?

i hv been married for last one year. In the month of may 2006 i concieve first time.then my husband and i decided to abort the child becoz we live alone in the city n our parants lives in the another city.we are struggling for our future. we cant afford child right now..after that i concieved for 2 times.and again we aborted the child.once bye operation and two times by tablets.Now again i m pregnent.we are not strong enought to abort our child this time as well as we cant afford child right now.we want to give a bright future for our child but right now we are not in the position to afford a child.
please give me right advice should i abort my child or not?and will it effect on my health?

ME and my ex broke up 4 months ago, now she claims thats she is pregnant with my baby. Now 2 days after we broke up she got together with another man. they've been together for the 4 months that we broke up. So,1.) How much does a blood test cost to determind if im the father or not, or can i wait until the babys born. 2.) What do i have to do to get my name on the birth certificate. And 3.) What do i have to do to get custody of the baby, she has no criminal reports of drug use, but i know she's using, will the courts make her take a drug test, and how can i bring it to the courts attention so that i dont have to have the mother of my baby using illegal drugs while pregnant?

I'm pregnant and trying to figure out which hospital is better to deliver at, because someone told me that Doctor's was understaffed and the babies in the nursery weren't taken care out that great. I just want to make sure that my baby will get the best care while still in the hospital. Any help would be great.

I just need to know some info. My girlfriend's mom knows shes pregnant so thats done with. Now she wants to come live with me in my apartment. We are not sure if she will be legaly able to just get up and leave without her mom having any legal say about it. What I mean by legal is that we dont want her mom calling the police and sending her back to her mother. Any information will help. Thank you!

OK, here is the deal. I am the father of a 15 year old daughter, whose best friend is pregnant. The girl in question, we shall call her "Ann" (not her real name obviously) wants my wife to drive her to get an abortion. I am VEHEMENTLY opposed to abortion, except in the case of rape, incest, or danger to the mother's life. None of these apply in the case of "Ann". I know that alot of people will cry "Women's Rights" in answering this question, but in my opinion, "Ann" had a right to NOT have sex in the first place. So. Moving on.

I told my wife that if she drives this 15 year old girl to a clinic, I was gone. As in, see ya later, no looking back, next train out of Dodge, GONE. She got all upset, saying I had no say in this at all. It has resulted in me and her not speaking at all, for a week, with no end in sight.

Here is my question. Did I do the right thing, saying what I did? More in the added details.....

my ex moved to NY, and we haven't talked for a month. I tried to contact him a few times, but he was avoiding me at that time. Do I HAVE TO tell him that i'm having a baby?

If I don't and he finds out about a baby later, what would happen to me?? i know he can't support the baby financially.

If the Father refused to sign the acknowledgment of paternity can he later come back and demand a paternity test so he may get full/partial custody? I dont beleive since he is not on the birth certificate that he does not have legal rights at all.

Please dont get me wrong, I dont want to keep my child from his father. I just dont beleive he is mentally stable to be around us and I can support my son on my own. I am not after money, I just want him out of my life. With him it is not about his Son, it is about a fight for control and he is constantly threatning me. I just think he should seek mental help befor trying to be in our lives. He is just a dirty fighting vile man and I want to know how far he can take it if I dont file for child support.

I just changed my birth control 3 weeks ago. I was on ortho tri cyclen Lo and I changed to the regular ortho tri cyclen. My bc didn't lapse. I changed b/c I was having some problems with the lo dose. Anyway, this would normally be my ovulation week...if I were not on bc. But, I've noticed all day that I've had cramps on my right side off and on. They hurt but are very short. It is not a dull cramp. I can tell exactly where it is. Could I be ovulating??

I grew up in the city, went to high school on the coast and now live in a country town,(pop:130000). My husband grew up in a smaller town just 30 mins away with a pop:6000. All of his family,(aunts,uncles,e.t.c..), grew up in cities Brisbane, Sydney, Gold Coast, London, e.t.c... They all have lower opinions about education, employment, and lifestyle oppurtunities in the country. I have noticed this seems to be a common opinion of alot of old friends of ours too who now live in the larger cities. In my experience all places have the same variety of people everywhere. Funny thing is my sisters high school was ranked 1 in QLD for O.P. scores and there are only 600 students in her school. Also most of our friends earn more money in agricultural jobs than those in office jobs in the city. So why do they have such a poor opinion on country people?

Both my kids have uncommon names- they are both traditional of my culture. I wanted to name my new baby something different to them like- tiger, tigerlily, tahllulah, cocoa, milky, asti, or cinnamon. My husband thinks I am cruel and the child will be picked on, and our families both think I am joking. There are so many unusual names now that it is quite common. Anyway what do you think?
