I'm pregnant and trying to figure out which hospital is better to deliver at, because someone told me that Doctor's was understaffed and the babies in the nursery weren't taken care out that great. I just want to make sure that my baby will get the best care while still in the hospital. Any help would be great.

A friend of mine had her daughter at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, and I must say, that is one gorgeous hospital. Her room looked out over the King and Queen towers, and she even had a private room and it had a little window couch that doubled as a bed for the father, or significant other to sleep on while there. There is even a McDonald's in there for when you get tired of the hospital food. Another good thing is that there are a lot of specialists that are affiliated with the hospital. Dr. Weinstein is excellent!!!! My friends daughter was born with some problems, and I hope and pray that that doesn't happen to you and your child, but the Children's Hospital is directly across the street and they are also excellent! I know that this is where I want to deliver, if I can ever get pregnant, and I live two hours away from there, I just feel better with all of the specialists so close by. Hope all goes well, and Good Luck!

I'm new to Georgia, but I recently visited Emory University Hospital in Decatur---impressive!!! If I had another child, I'd definitely have it there! And as if the well staffed and clean, comfortable classical music playing offices weren't convincing enough, they have one of the BEST children's hospitals in the country rivaling John Hopkins right next door. Congratulations, and I hope I helped.
