My kids are four years old now and we have amassed no fewer than 40 stuffed animals (some of them HUGE) and we just don't have the space for them anymore. They are all in good to excellent condition but they have all been gently loved. It seems like a waste the discard them in the trash but I'm not sure what else to do. I would love to donate them to an orphanage or children's shelter or some such but I'm afraid they won't want them because they aren't brand new. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am a single mom, and financially i know how hard it is to get all the things you need for your baby... i have used items and i want to give them away to other moms in real need... i am worried someone will just give me a fake sob story and sell the items... alot of his stuff is in really great condition... I just want to help another mom or family that actually doesn't have anything for their baby... capital of nc
i don't know how to contact shelters in the area... they do not seemed to be listed in the book... or i dont know what catagory they would fall under

I had a miscarriage in sep. I just fount out im pregnant again. I went to the hospital because i was cramping and my back was killing me. turns out im like five weeks and i have a UTI. I have all the syptoms but thought it was my period. Now that i know im pregnant i want to know what are the chances of having another MC. Also Im a little nauseated and my nipple were very sore at first but not so much now. Like some of my syptoms are on and off except having to make trips to the bathroom, back pain, and fatigue. I just need to know if everything sound right or if anyone has expericed the same thing and what are the chances of having a healthy baby bc im worried and trying to do everything right. No rude commits please. Thank you for those who answer

I get realy annoyed that parents find it easier to chastize a child for being naughty, rather than sit down and realise that a child is only being a child......As humans we dont like to be punished for something that we understand to be wrong, so why do some people think they can go around hurting children. Am a mother and know the strains put on us, but is there any need for punishment..............Kindness starts at home not in society......

I see SO many questions regarding pregnancy/childrearing issues, and I was just wondering what happened to communicating with people you actually know? I realize that the variety of experiences is vastly greater on a forum like this, but women USED to ask their mothers/aunts/relatives/friends even their doctors about what was normal for pregnancy and the behavior of their children, and up until recent history, that's all the choice they had. Does no one have a mother that they talk to anymore?

i was protected but i feel like a stupid child because i dont even know the symptoms of after sex and symptoms if for any reason i was pregnent...i dotn know what anything is suposed to feel like afterwards..i am not sore but my stomach feels sort of bloaded or something and its been that way ..for any horrible reason, is this a symptom of pregnency?!?!? my boobs are starting to get bigger..is that cause im still growing or could it be that im pregnant..i dont have access to pregnacy tests unless i know that im pregnent.im so scared right now..i know only a few syptoms of after sex but none if i were pregnent! please help me! and please please please only serious answeres...thanx for any good answers i get..

I always seem to tear during child delivery. I had a midwife who said some sort of oil could help to keep that from happening...is that true? Has anyone ripped on one kid and then learned how not to on another? What works? Proven methods please.

I have had intense animosity toward my boyfriend for the past couple of months. We both wanted to have a baby, I am 23 and he is 29. I have felt really irratible towards him and every thing he says just makes me mad. Sometimes I don't even want to talk to him. Anyone else have this problem?

Ok well I was wondering cause I have these drop dead gorgeous Baby Phat 4 inch knee high boot which cost $200, I bought them online and by the time they go to my house i knew I was pregnant. I've only worn them twice because I'm worried that old tale may be true. But I really wanna get my moneys worth, I wear designer clothes but $200 bucks for boots is a bit steep fpr me and I'm being told by several moms that my feet proboaly will get bigger and my boots fit perfectly now. (So they will be to small then)

If i can't wear them I won't be broken up just disappointed cause I don't even know anyone I can give them to, but I just really wonder what u guys think

i am 14wks preg and im no longer with my partner (recent mutual break up)
i have always been adament, even when we were together that the baby would have my surname as we were un married and that if we did marry that it would be changed.

i have agreed that he can be present and record his details on the birth certificate but he is planning on causeing a fuss etc and is planning on forcing me to give the baby his name. he will be named as the father.

i have told him to grow up as i could refuse to inform him of when im registering the birth and he wont be named (as we are unmarried the law states he dosent have parental responsibility with issues like this as well as medical decisions concerning the child.)

i just feel guilty about this but im doing it for many reasons including my personal experience when i was a child and the fact he did this with his previous children. i know we wont get back together at all. but i just wants best for my child

I would like to smack any adult who smack any childern. It is child Abuse.

If I saw anyone smacking a Child I would make a citizens arrest ( using reasonable force ) and take them to the Police it is a crime, Okay no ifs and buts - IT IS A CRIME.

You do not hit Children FULL STOP.
Otherwise you are committing Child Abuse - simple. Slave Labour, Child Pornography, Paedaphilia, Death.

I have 2 boys 1 of whom is very ill with Dravet Syndrome of 4 and 6 .
Children suffer terrible abuse all around the world.

Adults whom do this terrible abuse should be removed from civilised society immediately.

I dispair at liberal minded nonsense on Child Abuse hitting children is Abuse - plain and simple. All abuse to anyone is aborrent and needs to be punished as such.
