It is safe . The light does not reach the baby, but you need to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated and don't over heat. I did it with my first son and he was ok. Just be careful with your skin, too because it's more sensitive.

I am a regular tanning bed user and I chose not to tan while I was pregnant. In the first tri-mester I didnt realize that I was pregnant yet and when tanning I came home with a blotchy rash. I went for another tan a week later and the same rash appeared. I think that the rash was caused by the changes in my hormones from being pregnant. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks later and didnt tan again until my baby was born.
It is a personal choice but I chose not too because you just never know if it is harmful in someway to the baby. My motto was better to be safe than sorry. I havent found a sunless tanning lotion that I like but I did use a bronzing powder on my face called Physicaians Formula, it gave me a natural glow while I was pregnant.
Hope this helps!

I didn't when I was pregnant but a lot of my friends did. There babies were all healthy. The doctor told me that if I did to only go for around 5 min at a time. Most tanning places usually require a note from your doctor though.

It causes no none damage to the baby, but you're skin is more senstive, so you may ended up burned badly or get a rash. Same goes for tanning in the sun. It is recommended that use sunless tanning lotion, to achieve your tan. Hope this helps.

I always feel nicer with a tan but would never go on a sunbed. I would definitely not go on while expecting as you just don't know the damage you could cause. Look at Jordan, she went on sunbeds and her son is blind. I am not saying that this has got anything to do with it but I don't think it is safe.

I doubt that they know enough about what tanning beds can actually do to a pregnant woman.. Some people say no, some yes... some say it will damage the baby, some say no..
I wouldn't take that chance.

No it's not safe. Your body temperature increases too much. Hold off until after your baby is born.
