depends on the Pill type, but most pills you either take by mouth 1 tablet every day at the same time or can get pills that you take only 1 time per week.
There are also shots you can take 1 per month or 1 per every six months but I dont recommend that, I know people who have had problems from it. Like over bleeding during menstral cycle.
Their are patches too that you can get to wear.

The safest way to take these pills is How it is directed by your doctor. DO NOT take pills that arent prescribed for you, some pills are directed by body weight.

That depends on what brand of pill you are taking. Some brands you take a pill every day and some you take a pill for 21 days then none for 7 days. You are supposed to take them at the same time of day to help them be more effective. Call the pharmacy you got them at, or your doctor, if you need specific instructions.

Once you start the pill you need to take it on the starting day that is usually on a Sunday after your period ends and then take it at the same time everyday and makesure you keep them on time everyday. If you take any medications when your sick it lowers the percentage of the pill and you can get pregnant if your sexually active during this time so take caution when your sick or if your on any kind of medication.
