Depends, is there a theme? I've been to baby shower BBQs, afternoon teas and one where the moms brought all their kids so it was pretty casual. Who's throwing the shower? Ask that person if they had a dress code in mind, they probably won't have thought about it themselves.
They don't play too many games at showers where you'd have to worry about your clothes getting dirty (no poop throwing!), so a nice skirt and blouse that you'd wear to work or class should be fine.
It's nice that you're thinking about etiquette :)

I didnt know there was such a thing as a dress code for baby showers.
Anything should be good enough.
Remember- the center of attention is not you , but the mother who just had the baby. And the baby .
Wear something that you can stand to have drool on. Especially if you are planning to carry the child.

I wore a nice dress to my niece's this last August but I guess it really just depends! Is the shower for you and your baby or are you invited to bring gifts? Whatever you do make sure you are comfy, my niece's lasted 3-4 hours because she got so much stuff!

fortunately, swingy trapeze form tops are in form alongside with any form of babydoll cut back shirt or one with an empire waist. Any of those would be comfortable and easy to locate. not for optimistic approximately "bottoms" depending on the place you reside. You needen't subject approximately "flattering your toddler physique" suitable now. Your physique is desirable as that's (woman, that is annoying artwork making a toddler!!). only savor this time with friends and relatives and money in on it. you're in undemanding terms pregnant for see you later...

You could wear a nice pair of dress pants and a sweater or if you don't like sweaters, then you could wear a nice long sleeve shirt.
