We are in the same boat. I was 8 weeks yesterday. Some smells do get to me. While I am not throwing up, I can have a "gag" fest that sometimes last all day. Saltines, and ginger ale help, but I also can sip warm broth too. I have no energy what-so-ever, but this is my third, and I can assure you it should pass by the end of your 1st trimester. Good luck!

It's called morning sickness, i had it bad! The smell is the worst. The best thing to do is get an orange or lemon and smell that. I learned to love my dishwasher because of morning sickness. It was so bad i threw pots away because i couldn't even stand to look at the left over food!! I know it sounds horrible, and it is. All you can do is hang in there but if it gets too bad tell your doctor, they have pills to help from vomiting too much, you don't want to get dehydrated. I got dehydrated when i was pregnant with my first baby and i had to go the ER.

Your still in the early stages of being pregnet, its normal to feel this way. Its sorta like a way of telling you naturaly that hey somethings different about your body.
Not everyone has this issue. But it is very common it well pass in a few weeks. Some foods you looooved you wont care for its normal. Exspect to have cravings lol.. suchs as durritos at 3am or pickles and ice cream hehehe...
:o)
good luck!

it's normal. I thought I had the worst flu ever for 4 weeks and it turned out I was pregnant. It ended around the 20th week for me so it varies from person to person. Good Luck

Yes, it is normal. Typically the nauseousness passes after the first trimester. If it lasts much past that and becomes too much to handle, talk to your obstetrician. There are medications that he can prescribe to you for the nausea.
