well there are people who are 18 and more mature than 30 year olds. i have a few friends in their 30's who don't have jobs who are not paying their child support and who don't even go see their children. and here i am 19 with my own house getting married and a child on the way have been with my fiance for years. and besides doctors reccomend the healthiest child bearing ages are between the ages of 17 and 29 so think about it. I hate it how people judge young people when a 35 yeat old can be doing worse

Regardless of the legal age of consent (varies from state to state and country to country) there is a lot to be considered when entering into a vow of matrimony. While being in love is definitely a key concern, there are other factors which of of great importance. One may like to think that they can handle all of that which comes with marriage, however, there is a lot to consider. A suitable home, transportation, food, utilities and in the event of having children, all of the many details surrounding the care and well being of the children and family. Regardless of a legal age, much thought should be put into taken a vow of life long commitment. Obtain an education that will allow for you to work in an area you desire, be it a trade or profession of any type. Acquire the vehicle you wish to have and the home you desire, before entering matrimony. It will be much easier to tend to these details before marriage then after. Two cannot live as cheaply as one. If you are in love and want no other for the rest of your life then you will just as much in love, or even more so, in the future. In as such, it is best to wait until you and your love have everything in good order before getting married.

when you become an adult according to the law which differs from country to country there should be no restriction , but women who are eighteen should be first advised about marriage and the responsibilities that go with it,
and one should also understand the marriage is not just a bed of roses, there is more to it, a commitment once made can be broken but it will cause pain so unless a girl is mature enough and understands what marriage is all about go ahead and take the plunge

You can get married before 18 here as long as you have your parents consent...good luck getting that....I dont think it should be restricted whats it have to do with just women? Guys are hoes too. I think 18 is a good age....of course we waited til we were 20 but still its whenever you feel like it..

What????? People should get married when they are ready to, and when they are legally old enough, in the UK it is 16 with parental permission. Telling someone they have to wait til they're 30 is ridiculous.
