I recently watched a movie on Global warming. It scared me very bad. I understand that some people dont belive in this (i didnt before i saw the movie). But i was looking for some more ideas on what my family can do to help prevent this. I asked a ? similar to this and got only 2 serious anwsers, the rest were just people being mean. I have researched it on the net and found some great ideas that save us money too. Just looking for some more, and wondering what your familys are doing. And hoping to get the word out to protect my sons future. Som eof the stuff i found was buying a low flow shower head, it can save you up to $150 a year, move heat down 2 degrees and air up 2 saves $100 per year. Just looking for more ideas. ANd trying to get the word out.

The baby name Psalm pronounced like "Salm" but when I said without the "S" I meant the "S" at the end, because in the bible, its the book of Psalms. I would never name my baby "Palm" lol... okay go.

This feeling comes and goes and when I feel it, it just feels like something is kinda trying to push out. Kinda like a little needle with a sting sensation. My doc says Im not dilated. It is a strange feeling. I have been cramping/contractions in the mornings but not close together. Anyone know what this could be? Fetal movement has slowed down too.

I just found out that both of my children (4 and 5) were exposed to chicken pox this weekend. Both have had the vaccine but I was wondering if there is a chance they can still come down with it. I am 6 months pregnant and had a pretty good case when I was 6 years old but my husband has never had it, so I am concerned about it coming into our house right now.

I am waiting for my OB to call me back and my husband has a doctor's appointment next Tuesday to get the vaccine but I wanted to hear from other parents who may have had a similar experience, especially ones whose children came down with the chicken pox after they were given the vaccine.

Alright the reason I am asking you all this and I mainly want this answered from women who have recently found out they were pregnant or are not that far along in their pregnancy or women who can remember if this is something they experienced. For the last two days I have been getting these weird abdominal feelings like light light pressure or almost like a light pressure in my lower tummy. My boobs are getting more sore by the day and my nipples are getting darker too ( didn't have this with my pregnancy with my son ) and just a weird feeling like maybe this is my month FINALLY. I am not going to test at all until the end of the month although my period is due on the 21st I want to wait til the 30th before I test to be sure the hormones are strong enough. I use Lysol disinfectant around my house and I have been using it for only a short while for the last two days when I spray it the smell makes me sick, I am more aware of smells around me and seems like I have a super nose lol ..

What can I get my husband for our first anniversary??

My husband is a very sweet sentimental man. He is famous for getting me "just the right gift" for every occasion and wowed me when he proposed. Now that it's our first anniversary I want to wow him right back. I have already made him a memory book at Shutterfly.com of all of our digital photos from the past year but what else can I do? I need creative ideas, for under $200. We are already planning on going to dinner and staying in a hotel for a night away from our two children.

I totally did not think about using back up protection while I was taking the antibiotic. I was suppose to start my period Sunday and I haven't. What are the chances that I might be pregnant? If I took a pregnancy test could I get a false positive from the birth control pills????

Since Saturday I have been feeling bloated and and occansional cramps...mostly after I eat. I have felt the need to unrinate alot more lately too. Now, when I say bloated its not the kind where you feel like you had too much pasta or pizza (HAHA). Always a day or two before my period I feel BLOATED!!! And thats how I feel....I feel like I am going to start my period!!! I am currently on the birth control patch and on my second patch. For those of you who are not familiar with it...You wear one patch for a week for three weeks then have your period. I change patches on Sundays and so therefore I have about a week and a half to go before my period. So, with all that said, should I be concerned about being pregnant? Should I take a test? The reason I ask is because I read some symptoms and bloating and urinating are some symptoms. Anyhow, just curious.

I have a 1 month old daughter and i live with my boyfriend and his family. ever since my daughter was born, his mother would take her and just wants all day with her. Shes my daughter and i would like to spend some bonding time with her but his mom would just want her all the time and i cant say no to her all the time. Its just that i feel like my daughter might not get used to me and would want her grandma instead of me. I'm afraid of her wanting her grandma more if she gets older and i wont be able to make her happy because shes so used to being with grandma. Will that happen?

last week i saw on a t.v show (was not a reality show) a gril with 16 years old she had a health problem that could kill her if she didn´t took care of it ,so her mother put her in a lunatic asylum , the gril had no mental problems. I just wanna ask if a parent of a tenager can put there tenager in a lunatic asylum if they have a health problem that could kill the tenager and the tenager dosen´t wanna take care of it, even if the tenager has no mental problem.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and she suggested my choice of an over-the-counter spermicide because I just had surgery in mid-September to remove fibroids, and my body is supposed to have one year to heal. We DO want to get pregnant as soon as possible after my year is up and she didn't want extra hormones in my body to prevent it. Anyway, I mainly want to know if they're messy and anything else you want to say about it, positive or negative.

Okay, I had what I thought was implantation bleeding on Day one of my cycle, when my period was due. It lasted 3 days. 3 days of brownish spotting and nothing more. Usually I last a full 7 days and I am very heavy.

The same thing happened to my sister and she was pregnant.

Well, on Day 9 of my cycle, I started having some really sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen, by my pubic area. It was cramping up pretty bad. I read that this was middleschertz, pain when you ovulate.

So, it occurred 6 days after the spotting ended. If I had my full period, it would have occurred only 2 days after my period ended.

Was this ovulation, or something else? Did I experience implantation bleeding, or just a really light and short period, and the cramps I felt meant I was ovulating?

Has anyone else in their early pregnancies felt stabbing cramps in their lower abdomen? (It only lasted an hour or so.)

My last period was on around Dec 20 and finished almost by the end of the month. So then on Jan 7 & 9 I had sexual intercourse. Then yesterday the 16 also. I had been experiencing nausia, and somewhat not wanting to eat stuff and kind of like neck-ache and back aches. Overall, yesterday I thought I had gotten my period which my period wasn't due yet. It was something very very light, I had a pad on because normally when I get by the next day im on it. So, when I went to the bathroom i just cleaned myself, and Nothing I had nothing at all. What could this be?

My kids are big for their age. 21 mo old son wears size 6 Pampers Cruisers, and 6 mo old daughhter wars size 3. What would I do if they get too big for the 6? I havent seen any size 7 available anywhere.

I am 8 days late. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests (EPT & First Response). They have all came out negative! I have not had unprotected sex. I was actually pretty sick last week when i was due with the flu. I started getting cramps when it was due also, but never got my period. I think I may just be really stressed out. How likely do you think it is that im preggers?

The mom's have been determined to use meth. One mom gave up the child--4th time thru rehab. The other mom- meth/amphtemine/thc tested positive...also 8 month old has suffered a fractured skull. DHR in ALA has given the kids back to the moms....do they have to be hurt again at the hands of the moms before something is done...what can a dad on disability do?

Since I can't rmember my own, and I assume most can't, I've always wondered what actually goes through the mind of a newborn during the process of birth, especially since no verbal skills have been developed yet. Is it traumatic, or does the trauma only come with the cold, light, noise, and the doctor's cruel slap? Is it peaceful? Does a vaginal delivery affect the child more violently than a Cesarean delivery? What do you think?

I am hosting a baby shower on a Sunday at 2-4. There is aproximately 60 guests coming and I am stressing about the food. I have come up with a couple of ideas, but I don't know how much to make. I have, vegetable platter with dip, finger foods, chicken on sticks, mini quiches, multiple hors d'oeuvres, a cake, mini cheesecakes, chocolate cups filled with strawberries, chocolate brownies. I have that list, I just don't know how much to of each item I should make. Please help!!
