The baby name Psalm pronounced like "Salm" but when I said without the "S" I meant the "S" at the end, because in the bible, its the book of Psalms. I would never name my baby "Palm" lol... okay go.

If you like it, go with it. People are always gonna tell you they don't like it, but you like it for certain reasons, which are much more important than anything negative people have to say.(I was just reading how many people said negative things about it). I think it's awesome that you want to name your child based on something you believe in and value. These days people are so caught up with the way something sounds, or looks or what other children will think. Kudos to you!

it's original but sorry to tell you i do not like it at all for a child, and i read the Bible twice. i am sure you will get other beutiful names from the Bible, more suitable to a person. just think of the troubles he would undergo with his documents and name spelling, all the time... i am not sure he would be grateful to you

I like it! It's definitely original. I named my daughter, Egypt, out of the Bible, and had she been a boy, he would have been named, Israel.
