How many people out here realize that its DEADBEAT parents (male and female) who are the reason for most welfare cases? the state and federal government are tired of parents not paying for thier children, so they passed more strict laws. When the deadbeat is finally caught, it is THEY who have to repay the welfare, ALL of it.

WHY DONT PEOPLE OUT HERE KNOW THIS? How many out here do know it?

I have been reading alot on the pregnancy weekly topics and I am 21 weeks....according to the "studies" my baby should be 10 ounces right now. But last month I went to the doctor for an ultrasound and they said my baby boy was already 10 ounces! Does this mean he is growing fast and will probably be a big baby?

It was a unique opportunity to watch real bullying at play. The guilty are not kids, but you can bet that is how many teenage girls act to the outsider. I bet Danielle, Jade and maybe Jo (not sure about her yet) were all bullies in school.
God bless Shilpa...this could scar her for life.

i understand that mothers are the most important person for babys, i also understand that we should be there every time they look for us or "call' for us. my only concern is that my 7 week old baby doesnt even let me go to the bathroom theminute that he notices or sees that i leave his sight he stars crying like if something was hurting him obviously i come back and check him out and as soon as he sees me he stops, he hates to be left alone with his father, and even at night when sleeping he opens his eyes now and then to check if i changed him to his bed or if i'm still there, you can imgine that now i cant even take a minute to go to the bathroom with out him, please helpo me should i let him cry or sould i keep on encouraging the teory that he need to see that when he calls for me i'll be there, i'm a new mother and my baby is very important to me, thank you!!

I am breastfeeding ,and normally ,both my breasts were of equal size. Now one breast is bigger than the other. So should i feed from the larger one to equalize .
Could this size difference caused due to me having fed the baby from one particular breast excessively.I was shifting from left to right but unconsciously would have allowed extra feeding time on one particular breast.

I was really excited when I found out I was pregnant in October 06. I was confident that I would be a great mom and could handle the road blocks getting ready to come my way. Happiness soon faded. I miscarried in November 06 with my first pregnancy at three months pregnant. I am 22 and have mixed emotions about everything. I know things happen for a reason but the way the miscarriage turned me around is hard for me to get over. I wanted to be a mom when I was pregnant, but now that I'm not anymore, I realized how my plans for my life have changed. I know what God wants me to do. I still want to get out with my friends and go to college and get a degree in the medical field. I want to make something of myself and experience life now that I'm young. But now that I have a different perspective, it makes me feel like not having enough money and living in a one bedroom apartment is the reason I miscarried. Is it wrong for me feeling the way I do. What should I do?

I don't get it. How can someone be pro-choice and then sit and tell someone to have an abortion because of their age or financial status? Isn't that being a hypocrite? If you are pro-choice, I thought that meant you were for choice. How can you be pro-choice when you tell someone to have an abortion , even if it was said they are keeping their child?

[ok, i'm tryin this again cuz it got all twisted by several of the answerers. check the earlier one if interested]

i'm not talking accidents, i'm talking PLANNING to get pregnant in a bad situation.
their CHOICE is the problem. i'm not even saying that they would be terrible at it, but it just shows that they lack self-sacrifice already, how will they be when they are mothers? it's scary!

for example, (these are SPECIFIC examples i'm talking about, not generalizations) they're 16 yr old illegal immigrants with no education and no money and the father to be is going to jail? or they have little commitment from their *boyfriend* of some-odd years (who has multiple children from multiply women) and already have a 3 month old by him?

I JUST WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR- the issue here is that they are TRYING to get pregnant! they are PLANNING to have a baby too young, too unstable, WHATEVER, and they are DELIBERATELY trying to bring a child into that situation.
