I am about 7 weeks with my second and I was wondering the same thing about my belly! I am hoping people will be too polite to say "ooo you look like you've gained weight" and then I can tell them after 12 weeks like you. If anyone does say anything, I will plead ignorance!

Its hard to believe, but my wife started to get a belly at 4 weeks with our second child. When she first told me I siad "dont be daft!!!" but then she showed me, and she did indeed have a belly already!!! Nothing to worry about we were told, perfectly normal as the muscles that hold you all together around the mid section are a little more stretched and supple 2nd/3rd/4th time round and therefore dont quite "hold you in" the same!, so you can start to show earlier than usual.

It quite normal I have three and with each I have got bigger and bigger, also showed earlier. Your stomach muscles give way quicker because they have been there before, has no indication of the size of your baby. All mine weighed around the same. When I had my third I was like a beached Whale but he was only 6 pounds, so don't worry. Good luck both of you and enjoy your little bundle when he/she arrives.

i got a belly with my first pregnancy at 4 weeks. but it didn't get much bigger till the 11th week, but i lost weight. i still managed to hide it. just wear lose clothes and say that maybe you are gaining weight. that's what i did. i also didn't want to tell anyone before 11 weeks since earlier i had a miscarraige.
good luck with your pregnancy. and i am pretty sure that after 2 pregnancies you are not going to have any problems.

I've always heard that with each pregnancy, you tend to show a little sooner.
I was showing at 6 weeks or so with my 3rd. But then again, I was also pregnant with twins LOL I just thought I was bigger because it was my third pregnancy. My docs thought the same thing.
Neither one of us suspected twins. Not until they showed up at 17 weeks on my ultrasound.

Congratulation...
It's a big one...
How long apart are your 2nd and 3rd child? If its not too long, the belly might be because you had a little bit of belly after your 2nd child so it looks like its already big...

The muscles around the tummy area are looser with every pregnancy, so that might be why you are showing earlier, it might also mean you got more than one in there!
It might just be that you are aware of it and therefore believe yourself to be showing. It might just be bloating, dont worry too much about it, just relax and enjoy this pregnancy xxxxxx

Congratulations. I started showing earlier with my third child as well. However, I ended up gaining less weight with that pregnancy. I wouldn't worry about it right now. Good luck to you and your baby.
