I don't get it. How can someone be pro-choice and then sit and tell someone to have an abortion because of their age or financial status? Isn't that being a hypocrite? If you are pro-choice, I thought that meant you were for choice. How can you be pro-choice when you tell someone to have an abortion , even if it was said they are keeping their child?

I don't know but I can answer only from my point of view on the subject. I'm pro-choice but my personal advice to a friend or relative would be to keep the baby. I feel that a woman should have the right to choose what is best for her whether I agree with it or not. And if she chooses to have an abortion she has the right to do it legally; therefore safely. She should also be counseled about birth control and her life choices going forward.
I'm just glad to see that someone else here recognizes that pro-choice is NOT the same as pro-abortion.

Because pro-choice is a name that pro-abortion people CALL THEMSLVES. Just like pro-life is a name that people who are against abortion call themselves. I don't think any of them are necessarily hypocrites, they just want to make their stance look a little better because choice and life are great things, so they say they are pro life or choice. When really they are either for or against abortion in reality.

Because they are not pro choice, they are pro abortion. Big difference. Ever notice that when "pro-choice" people are never for a parent choosing a private school vouchers and removing their kids from government schools. They are also against choosing where one puts their retirement money.

No, you're not any further a hypocrite. It appears like you've an same emotions as I do. Abortion isn't one of those birth control---> At that factor, that is a living being. in case you don't desire a touch one, you should birth control beforehand of time. Partial-delivery abortions are the worst- shall we bypass ahead and provide the infant and then decrease its neck and kill it. i do no longer understand how somewhat all and diverse can call that something except homicide! Exceptions should be made even as the mummy's existence is in probability and that i have never yet determined on my perspectives on rape- i imagine adoption continues to be a more effective perfect determination, yet that relies upon on the age of the female. i'm a touch diverse than maximum on the concern of the day after pill- that to me is like Orkin- an exterminator. once you've any "insects" in there, we can remove them for you. you're doing the smart and the perfect concern (except for abstinence) to stay away from a touch one. by technique of creating use of your approach a touch one is by no ability created so that you may abort, exterminate, or homicide. Congratulations on your determination!

Pro-choice means making the right decision at the time. For someone underaged or poor, the best choice is abortion.

I think they are probably just offering advice. They would be hypocrites if they actively stopped someone from getting an abortion.

YEAH I AGREE WITH YOU. SOMEPEOPLE ARE KIND OF TWO FACED. PEOPLE WOULD GIVE ADVICE TO SOMEONE ELSE, BUT WOULD THEY DO THE SAME IN THE SAME SISTUATION. YEAH IT IS EITHER PEOPLE ARE FOR IT OR AGAINST IT. I DON'T AGREE WITH ABORTION AT ALL
