I am hosting a baby shower on a Sunday at 2-4. There is aproximately 60 guests coming and I am stressing about the food. I have come up with a couple of ideas, but I don't know how much to make. I have, vegetable platter with dip, finger foods, chicken on sticks, mini quiches, multiple hors d'oeuvres, a cake, mini cheesecakes, chocolate cups filled with strawberries, chocolate brownies. I have that list, I just don't know how much to of each item I should make. Please help!!

If you want to add salad in there, just buy a couple of those salad in a sack, and get a few different types of dressings. As for how much, plan on a large veggie platter (if your making it I would use around 3 bags of baby carrots, 4 bell peppers, 3 things of celery, 1 cucumber......And whatever else you want. As for the chicken on the sticks, depending on how large they are is how many you should get. If they are normal sized like teriaky (spelling?) chicken then plan on 4-6 per person, that way you cant run out its better to have extra then not enough. Mini quiches plan on everyone having 2, chocolate cups, get enough for everyone to have one, along with the brownies. You get the idea, Im sure you will do great.

take tortra and spread a mixture of sour cream taco mix, onions and cheese spread it on them , roll it up tight and cut in to small pieces I had this at my shower and people really liked it

also you can make a dip with refried beans (layer1)
sour cream
shredded cheese
chopped letuce
chopped tomatoes

Also meatballs cooked in a crock pot with ragu / serve with hoggie style rolls usally goes over good.
