I have never been pregnant, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 7 months now and for some reason this month I feel different. I have a few different signs that might indicate pregnancy but the one that has me a little concerned is this.... I do check my cervix as a means of determining my most fertile days and I keep note of them so that I know what to look for the next month. ( please don't lecture me on this my doctor is aware that I am doing this ) For the last two or three days when I check my cervix it has been soft and closed and changes from a medium to high position sometimes but this is what is bothering me now, things up there seem really swollen and so does my female parts down below. I don't know if this is a bad thing or something that could be a positive anyone with help I would appreciate it a ton

I don't have the actual numbers, as it varies, but on average people who rob a bank (without a weapon) spend much more time in prison than do child molesters and kidnappers. Do you remember the California case of Steven Stayner? The man kept Steven from the time he was 7 until he was 14. He also abducted Timmy. They were rescued after Timmy's abduction. The man accused of the crime only spent 5 years in jail. He's back in prison for trying to buy a 4 year old boy for $500 This tells me that our laws protect our money more than our children. Recently, Shawn Hornbeck was found in the apartment of Michael Devlin. Michael has been accused of abducting Shawn over 4 years ago. They found Shawn after Michael had kidnapped Ben Ownby. Authorities believe there have been other children abducted by Devlin -still missing Attorneys are currently working on the case. How long will he spend in jail? My answer -Not Long Enough!
Something needs to be done to get these predators off the street. Please do something about this problem. Use your emotions, your heart, and your voice to put these thoughts in the minds of others who are in position to change the law. Put sexual predators and abductors behind bars for life. What is more important to you? Money or Children?

We are expecting our first baby, May 1, and we are choosing a crib. We have seen several models that convert to a toddler bed and then a full-size adult bed with headboard and footboard.

The drawback is that these convertible cribs do not have a "drop" side. In other words, the side of the drib does not move and cannot be raised or lowered to take the baby in and out. The saleswoman didn't think this was a problem, but I have no idea? There are three matress settings so the matress height on the crib is adjustable.

I like the idea of the convertible crib. Will it be hard to take baby in and out? what do you think?

PS we plan on using a basinette for the first three months anyway.

My boyfriend and I are expecting. First for me second for him. Why does he talk to his babys mama everyday? Even the days that he doesnt have his child. For example this morning, she called at 7am. For what reason... I dont know. He wont answer it infront of me. When she calls he will answer and go in the other room. It is really starting to annoy me. Am I just being paranoid? What is he hidding? Cuz if there wasnt anything to hide he would speak with her right in front of me.

My daughter is 9 1/2 months old, and I want to have another baby. How do I convince my husband that now is the time to have another baby. I don't want our kids to be too far apart in age. I don't want them to be more than 2 years apart in age. So, now would be the time to try. What can I tell him to get him to agree to start trying to have another baby now.

My daughter is nearly five and is very sweet and kind. She is very popular with adults because of her lovely nature. Lately when she has been playing with her bestfriend she has been naughty. She ran off with her and crossed a busy road without me knowing where she was and today at her day-care house she and her friend poured water over the carers carpet. My daughter has been with this carer for 3 years and we treat her like family. I was shocked when she told me what the girls had done. Later at home when I asked my daughter whose idea was it she said her friend said to do it or else she wouldn't be her friend. What should I do about this friendship? They are about to start school together so I am hoping my daughter will hopefully make some other friends. Should I speak to the girls mother?

I already a daughter with the name "E" Renee. I would like to name the next one with the same initials but haven't decided on an "R" middle name yet. Something to go with Emily. Was thinking Ryan, but kind a think it isn't girly . Rose, Riely, is already in the family a few times. (plus the horror movie) Are there other spellings for Ryan? Any other suggestions that start with an R. Or suggestions for a "T" (first name) "L" middle name. Thanks

I resent not having more children. We have two of our own and he has a daughter who lives with us as well. Ages are 12,6 and 4. I have lived with wanting more (2 or 3, but would compromise with 1) for over 2 years, but my husband hasn't. I realized back then that u shouldnt force a child on someone else so i accepted his decision. I got out of the house, studied and started a career. Got a cat n took up a hobby that takes me out of the house one night a week. I even tried counselling. I think I have done all the right things to accept this decision and move on with our lives but nothing has worked! What else can I do? A month ago he told me that he realized that I have tried hard to change the way that i think and i am still unhappy with that aspect of our lives(even though he knows i try to hide it), and that he will change his mind to make me happy, because he realizes what this means to me. Should I get pregnant? I don't want him to resent me. He is a great father and hubby

I am looking for something that is not so common. In other words, I don't want a middle name like Lynn, Ann, Marie, etc., because those names are really common.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I'm anti-abortion right. but My boyfriend wants me to get an abortion. He said that he would not be able to be there for me like I would want him too. How ever that is. I feel like I need to prove something to him. Has anyone had an abortion and did you hate the guy after or was it just like another day. I have two kids and I'm a single mom but kill my child because some man wants the easy way out of life. He said he love me but I don't know what to think now.
