... the funniest, saddest, wierdest, most surprising, serious, true thing you ever heard a little child saying?

2007-01-21 04:42:43 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous

I've been seeing this girl for 6 months, and found out recently she is pregnant. Up to this point we hadn't discussed marriage and we don't even live together. We have feelings for each other, but it's still fairly early in the relationship. I'm scared of us having it, then finding out we're not right together. Should we have it? I'd like many opinions and points of view so I make sure I think about this from every angle and know what I'm doing before we decide what to do.

I just heard in california there working on a law that if you spank a child under the age of four, you can get a 10,000 fine and one year in jail. What are your thoughts on this? So would you threaten your child like this" Now Kathy do you want a 10,000 spanking?" Instead of," You better stop that or your not going to get a happy meal"

In California, It's currently against the law for anyone but parents to spank a child. A proposed new law would make it illegal for them, too, if the child is 3 years old or younger. Assemblywoman Sally Lieber (D-Mountian View) wants the practice of swatting a child on the behind outlawed and is in the process of drafting a bill to do so. Violaters could spend a year in jail and pay up to $1,000 in fines. Enforcement is unclear.

Okay i had a previous question that the mother of my child (17) will be giving birth in 5 months and her parents want us to get married. My parent disagrees strongly.Alot of responses were you don't have to stay with her if you don't want to and etc.
Let me re-phrase myself.

I am 15 years old,I hold a job, teach film/animation at my high school (yes people..that's right..i teach it) I am enrolled in college classes at my university,i am religious (christian),I am in love with my partner very very much, and am i new father.

Now i believe in being married before having a baby.I agree with my spouses parents but my parent does not agree.Now...any advice? If you would like do check out my other related question to get a more detailed specification on my question.Thank you for all your advice or suggestions.God bless you.

Okay well i'm the father. My girlfriend is 17 turning 18 in March.I am unfortunatley 15.Her family is religious (mom is a abstince goer of our state) and they came to the conclusion we should get married before its illegal. Also it would be better for our child.Well i confronted my mother (no dad) and she disagrees very strongly. In a stubborn way.All she says is my age but its not about my age but about the baby.Right? She keeps telling me since i'm having a baby i have to grow up and be an adult but when i bring up the marriage she says your just a kid you can't get married. She doesn't make up her mind.I feel strongly about marriage (though i'm young) but i feel it will be right.Better for the baby.I never had a dad growing up so i want to be the official dad when its brought into this world.Does anyone have any suggestions and or advice. All is appreciated.Thank you and god bless you.

Not going to judge, but I would like you to be honest!

Did you receive sex ed before becoming pregnant? Did you think you got get pregnant ONLY 1 day a month?

Looking back was the sex ed class helpful? Did your parents talk to you about sex? Did you have an open relationship with your parents to discuss sex?

i cant afford to live in a place without my mom cause i have to work and have my mom watch my child. but my older brother lives with us and i caught him smoking weed in his room. second hand smoke goes through the cracks of the door and through the vents. and i got furious cause my new born is in the room across from his. he said he wouldnt do it anymore but i caught him again! i would just leave but i cant afford to live anywhere else right now without my moms help. does anyone know where i can get some pictures of a baby effected by marijuana or some info to show him what he has done to her the last couple of days( we just got this place on the 19th so we have only lived with each other 2 days.) to make her stop or i will insist on him leaving or me and my daughter leaving to another relatives or something.

and also if you dont have an answer that answers my question and all you got to do is critisize me or make jokes, save your energy, grow up, and i dont mind reporting you at all

I am not a mom I was unable to have kids and that is OK, but I love being an Aunt very much. My sisters work so hard and have to work outside the home b/c money is so tight. What are ways that I can encourage them and pour my love into my nieces and nephews? It is not easy being a mom and it is even harder being a mommy 24/7/365 and even though like I said before I am unable to have kids, I want to be the Aunt and the sister that gives and cares and babysits because when it is just me and my husband it is easy not to understand or empathize with what moms go through, and we just want to make a difference in my families lives.

This may sound weird, but ever since I had my son I have a really hard time being apart from him. He is two now and even though work part-time away and part-time from home (I am a single mom), I dread leaving him when I work outside of home. I think about him and miss him so much when I am gone. I get worried more about safety (mine and his) though I don't go overboard with that issue. Someone once offered to take me to Jamaica all expenses paid and I declined because there is no way I could be that far away from him! I was once five hours away on a weekend trip and I was sick about it the whole time. Do any other mothers have this problem and what have you done about it, if anything?

I live in a townhouse and my neighbors that are attached to me play their ghetto music very loud some days, and you can hear the base really well right through the walls. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and will soon have a baby here and don't want to have to listen to that crap or have it keep my baby up. But I don't want to come across as a b*tch either. How do I tell them in a nice way to turn down their music?
