Unfortunately those are the battle wounds us mothers bare, but they are wonderful reminders of how amazing pregnancy is. Try getting some of this stuff called Palmers Scar Serum it is really oily so might I suggest mixing it with something else. I used it on my belly and on my c-section scar and it reduced the appearance of them dramatically. Well worth the goopy feeling for a little bit. They aren't that noticeable any longer but if you look really closely you can see them. Good luck to you

Stretch marks will fade over time, but you can do a few things to keep your skin in the best possible condition for healing. Start with drinking a lot of water, at least eight 8oz glasses a day. Eat properly and exercise when you're able. (I know that it's hard to find time to exercise with a newborn) Try massaging the area with lotion or cream 2-3 times daily. You might want to try one of these home made stretch mark creams. They are great for your skin!

here is the horrible truth about stretch marks they are genetic, no matter what you do during your pregnancy will not prevent them , that was my reoccuring question during pregnancy to over doctor and midwife... there is no way to completly get rid of them ... but what i did over my worst stretch mark I had my sons name tattooed...I mean you need to look at it as this is your trophy, they are mommy marks, they brought you your wonderful baby. But try an over the counter scar therapy that reduced my smaller ones.

If they are still purple or red, good news, you can fade them. Use a scar cream, Vitamin E oil or cocoa butter lotion.
If they are white, they are already scar tissue and won't go away without laser treatment.
