My husband and I are pregnant with a baby boy. We like the names Wyatt and Michael. Our other two kids have two middle names. What other name would go good with Wyatt and Michael and in what order should they go in?

On jan 3 i had what i thought was implantation bleeding, but i took a test and it was negetive. (I have a irregular menstrul cycle, anywhere from 30 to 36 days.) I have all the symptoms, neasua, heartburn, constipation. i just feel pregnant. i was pregnant once before and i know what it feels like. Could i be pregnant and just have low hcg. when should i take a test? Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive seen this ? asked a couple of times but they were cases where the father abandoned or didnt sign the birth cert.

My childs father is my boyfriend. we are on wonderful terms. he will be at the birth. im sure he will sign the birth certificate. I dont need to get married yet and i want my child to have MY last name for the time being. will there be a problem? or must the baby have his last name if he signs the birth cert?

other reasons : my family has 1 boy (in the miltary scary!) and his family has 4

my mate hates his father and so do i. he has even considered changing his last name to his mothers but decided it would be too much trouble at this point in his life. i dont want my child to carry on a legacy that disgusts me.

My boyfriend is still deciding on the subject but regarless of what he thinks, i want my child to have my last name. need info

I'm trying to teach my 11 month old to drink on their own and someone suggested using a cup with a straw in it, but how can I teach him to suck the straw? Previously I have just been using a cup with a spout for him to drink water from, so he thinks it will just pour in his mouth. Should I give up and just go back to the spout until his older and then retry a straw??

Was the process difficult? What do they look for in you as being viable before they allow you to adopt? Did it take long? Any information would be great! thank you.

Over the last few weeks my breast milk has been getting that soapy breast milk taste mothers talk about. I am able to express about 40 oz a day and I would say that at least 1/3 of the expressed milk has a very soapy flavor. I have tried scalding the milk like they have said to eliminate the flavor but that doesn't work. Is there anything I should or should not eat that may effect this. HELP, I really don't want to have to do the formula thing right now.

I'm trying to get some ideas and was wondering if you could come up with some nice middle names for these 4 first names. Any ideas are welcome, but I prefer names of saints if you know any that will flow nicely. Thank you!

Natalia
Nathan
Adia (pronounced a-dee-uh)
Jayden

For about 5 days now I've had a clear/white WET discharge (I hate feeling wet!). It doesn't have an odor, and I don't have an infection. Any advice?

I am 23 years old and have over 10 years experience in child care. I also have an associates degree in childhood education. The mother is asking for over 40 hours of childcare per week, including 1 overnight 7pm-7am. I am going on the interview this Friday and want to be prepared with an hourly rate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any questions for me that would help, just ask! Thanks a lot!

I know there are a million books to read after you actually ARE pregnant, but what about before? What about books on topics like "so, you think you want to be a parent?" Those kinds of books are what I am looking for. I am also a Christian, if it matters, the books can be religious-based or not, it doesn't matter too much.

Something you've actually read from experience or a book you wish you'd read before becoming pregnant would also be great. Or also, books that say things you should think about... financially, physically, experiential wisdom, spiritually, emotionally, between you and your spouse, etc. OR, even books on what to do if your husband is the one who wants to be pregnant sooner than you do... ;)

Thanks!

Lost a lot of weight during the first trimester and half of the second from being so sick, and then lost some recently because of stress and depression. Not trying to lose weight or stay at this weight, I know that's not healthy for the baby. Even if i gain a pound a week for the rest, i will still only just reach my original weight. (I am 33 weeks now). I haven't gained any weight, but i realize that the weight that I am now is still not all me, there's still all the other components to it like baby and placenta, etc... Like the information that i have below:
Where Does the Extra Weight Go?

Baby
8 pounds
Placenta
2-3 pounds
Amniotic fluid
2-3 pounds
Breast tissue
2-3 pounds
Blood supply
4 pounds
Fat stores for delivery and breastfeeding
5-9 pounds
Uterus increase
2-5 pounds
Total
25 to 35 pounds

Realistically, how much should i expect to lose for sure during the first 6 weeks? As in- what did you/people you know lose in the first weeks?

My husband and I have been married a little over a year now, and have been together about six years. I always end up telling people that "if he could be the pregnant one, we'd have had a kid by now and another on the way!" I'm just the opposite. I always, always take a while to be committed to something, anything- I can't just jump in like he does. He feels he's getting old (only 25, I'm 24), but I don't. I always told him I'd like to wait at least five years to have kids, but now he really wants to speed things up. I worry about the "what if's..." I am a teacher and plan to always be one. I don't want to be the kind of mom that takes years off to raise their children, though that is admirable and noble. His job will not carry us through if I have to quit. His familiy is very supportive.

Here's the question: what made you decide to finally start a family? I want one, but I don't know when. He's pressuring me to start this summer and be pregnant all next year. ANY advice?

1st time baby hardly moved the whole time,in fact even had his legs crossed at one of the scans and his hands hovering about his head which made me laugh thinking how laid he back he looked! The labour started early on its own but slowed down to nothing till he was eventually induced and decided to finally make an appearance 36 hours later. He is now a very chilled out child, quite relaxed and falls asleep with his hands clasped behind his head.
No 2 A huge diffrence!Hardly stopped while I was carrying him. When I went into labour things were going fine till it stopped to the point I was signed up for an emergency C.Got as far as being prepped for the epi when I felt something and the midwife asked if I wanted to push and I said yes I did!So he was born naturally in the operating theatre. Now he is a very stubborn child who is adamant that he will do things his way until the very point where he knows he should back down then cooperates without a word as if it'd been his idea all along!
