I was 15. I think its good that people wait till they get married. Nothing wrong with that. Plus if the boyfriend really loves you he will wait till your ready without joking around and pushing the issue.
I was never told about the birds and the bees. I think if my mom would of sat down with me and talked and had an open mind about things. I might of waited longer.
All I knew was that my friends was having sex and I had an older boyfriend that already had been with another girl before me. So, I thought I had to to keep him around. We did date for a yr. You will always remember your first.
All I can say is be safe and get to know the person before you give up your virginity. And get a better understanding in the subject.

I was 16 and a half. I would go into the details but it is an incredibly long story. Needless to say she cheated on me a lot and i haven't seen her for about 2 years now. Good riddence. If anybody has still got theirs i'd suggest holding onto it until you find somebody worth making memories with.

About 5 months after i started dating the man of my dreams that i knew i wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Lets see... i guess i must have been about 17 and 2 months. And i can still remember the date, and the magic of it. Married to him now, but we're separated, I still love him, and i hope he comes home because he is still a wonderful man and still is able to make my life more fun and meaningful.

just before I turned 18, I thought he would be with me forever. However he was the german exchange student and I don't know how I thought that could last, I've had bad relationships that had a better chance. No regrets here!
