When we were growing up there were good shows and music. but now a days, tv and music are gradually getting worse. iam scared for my children in the future. what will they have to get some good morals?

YOU are where your children will learn good morals and values!
You are your children's guardian. You make yourself their source for learning about morals and values. That is your job as a parent.
Yes, there is some horrible music out there. Don't let your children listen to it. Yes, there are some horrible things on tv. Don't let your children watch it. Yes, there are horrible people out there who will try to corrupt your children and change the values that you are trying to teach them into their own. Don't let that happen.
Part of your job as a parent is to teach your children to be strong enough to resist influences that will steer them from the path that you are trying to put them on.
Be strong. Be a parent!

They will have you and the people you surround yourself with to get good morals...if you need help with that there are lots of books out there that you can read your child (children)...but tv doesn't lay the foundation for my kids' morals, thats why they have us!!! Remember, children learn by watching their parents and others around them, more so than they learn from what you tell them...I've learned that the hard way! Good luck.

Well you dont have to make your kids watch the shows if you dont want to. Theres still alot of good movies for adults and kids. Look at Shrek and all of them. Its not like their just going to stop making movies like that. As for TV their are plenty of shows that are great for kids. And for them to get good morals, they cant learn that from music or tv or movies, you have to teach them that.

i have 2 kids an i think they have good morals, i teach them respect an give them all the love i can, as for the tv an music i think its just that music an tv my kids will grow up to be all they can be cos i love them an showed them respect.

Hopefully their parents will do a good enough job of teaching them, and getting them involved in good activities not to let those outside media sources mess them up.
