I recently went off the bc pill in april. My period has been irregular up until now. My last period was on June 22 and my husband and i tried on day 10, 11, 13, and 15. As of today im on day 21. Yesterday and today i'v had spotting and alittle cramping. Could this be the egg latching on??? And also w/ the day I tried am i more likely to have a boy or a girl.. I already have a son.

I've asked some questions about abortion, and there is this underlying theme that a woman 'gets' to have an abortion, and 'gets' to make the choice, instead of looking at it as a burden of responsibility. I know that women who have had abortions don't feel great about 'having' to make a decision, but I wonder about those that haven't personally been in the situation. Do you see it as a burden placed on women, or is it a benefit for being a woman?

We lost our son at 21 weeks (May 22nd) and the Dr determined that I have an incompetent cervix. So for future pregnancies I will have a cerclage done at 13 weeks... I'm kind of nervous about the whole situation and that the cerclage will not work.. Anyone out there been throught the procedure and what are your thoughts? They say the success rate of going full term w/ a cerclage is 91%, the rest will probably end up having the baby a little earlier...like right after they take the stitches out at 34 weeks!

My job requires you to tuck your shirt in because we work with the public. If possible, and i dont legally have to tuck my shirt in because i am pregnant, i will need proof. If possible.

Are there any grants for this type of research? Perhaps the pro-life movement donates money to this research? I thing that would solve the abortion issue once and for all. No more abortions because women could hand the fetus over for someone else to grow and care for.

I had a c-section on the 3rd. well about 3 days ago i noticed that my lower abdomen was really tender to the touch on the right side i noticed a huge lump inside. overall the cut itself is clean and dry.well yesterday when i did my normal cleaning to my incision i removed the gauze and liquid like a pinkish green color starting draining from my staple all the way to the right side i started to feel relief and it also had a strange smell to it..this is gross...i go to my doc today..yesterday i talked to a Dr on call and she perscribed me antibiotics..my lower ab is so sore and i still feel that ball inside like its filled back up...has anyone had this sort of thing happen? im scared over here.

I am talking about getting sonograms and ultrasounds to find out the gender of the baby and if it's not what you want, then you abort it. I think it's terrible. This is being done daily in India and China. They don't want girls. The population of men to women in India is definately not equal. There are many more men than women and they are even trafficking wives in for the men. They are wiping out whole generations of women. Gender selection should be illegal. What do you think?

How early were they born? How much did they weigh? How long did they stay in the hospital?

My son was born at 26 weeks, weighed 2.1 lbs, and remained in the hospital for 80 days, before he reached 4.5 lbs.

But I have yet to see one that suggests we make men accountable for the babies that aren't aborted? Seems O.K to demand that women give their men notice of any decision regarding her body, but the number of single moms and children on welfare is an even larger problem. How about men take care of the ones that are born first? You want to lower the abortion rate, use birth control, and don't get girls pregnant when you don't want to have children.

He tends to sleep mainly during day, though not always, and by the time I come from work in the evening at 6pm, he is either asleep or just waking up. I breasfeed him for a while and then he either sleeps for an hour at most or keeps playing till 4-5am in the morning.

Sometimes he just cries and I can't seem to find the reason why, especially when he is feeding. He just rejects the breast and yells like he's in so much pain. I check his pamper, feel if he's too hot or cold, lay him on his tummy in case he's having a stomach ache,,, What am I not doing right?

Plus I have another concern. I seem to have lost so much weight after giving birth. My bum, hips and thighs just shrunk, though my breasts enlarged but now are drooping already! I really look awkward. What should I do to gain weight in the right places and have firm breasts? Please help.

Mama.

I have been seeing this man on and off over the past ten years, he means the world to me... back in Feburary he told me he feels nothing for me.. I was heart broken, I never seen it coming.. And the thing is I'm pregnant with his child and now he's treating me like he's never met me.. I am 30 years old and blown away with by the way he is treating me. But the worst part is I miss him and want to talk to him..What do I do? I know I should forget about him and move forward but I can't seem to let go.....

I'm only 16 and my boyfriend and I have only been together for 2 months. We love each other more then anything and we wanted this. [Please don't make comments about that, just my original question please!] My last period was May 26 and ended June 1. Ive taken 3 tests a week apart and they all came out negative but I'm having symptoms, like breast tenderness, extreme fatigue, and the urge to pee 24/7. I want to go to the doctor and have them do a test but I don't know how to ask my mom. And I'm afraid that is I ask her and then thetest says no she is going to try to stop me and keep me away from my boyfriend. [Again, no comments please and thank you!] Please help me!!

Recently I feel bloated and is suffering from constipation. Some of my friends say that I may be too stressed that causes my menses to be late. But I'm really worried. If i go to the doctor now, is it too early to check whether am i pregnant?

My miracle baby is now 3 and i had my tube burnt so no more babies, but i wonder about having more, i am only 27 and i only have 1. He his the greatest love of my life, my husband says he doesn't want anymore, (his 11 yr old daughter lives with us) but he brought up first about 6 mos ago. I don't know if i want another one or if I want mine to remain a baby. I know it doesn't work like this, but i can't imagine loving another child as much as i live my son. After all he is my miracle baby. Ovarian cancer twice, cervial cancer once. THe odds are slim to none once again, but should we talk about our options or just leave it as it is?

I want to ask if the first time I see the OB, can he or she tell me if my baby is developing healthy and normally? I mean to say some women have a miscarriage and come to know from the signs and then go see th OB. In this case can my doc tell me during the first visit if my baby is healthy and I have a normal pregnancy? the at home tests don't prove that right? they just tell us whether we are pregnant or not from the HcG levels.
