Besides rape or incest, no abortion. Goddamn you are KILLING BABIES. Does no one else see a problem here? Look at partial birth abortion. The baby is killed during birth. Its brain is sucked out through a ******* tube! If they wait 5 minutes, the baby is born. Imagine if someone walked into the maternity ward and sucked a baby's brain out. They would be arrested. An yet if you do this before it's head comes out of the mother, somehow it's not murder? Stop the baby killing.

I feel it should only be legal when the mother's life is in jeopardy. Doctors aren't god and they can tell you that the child is at risk for many things. Doctors don't know everything. If I was pregnant and told I would have a child with severe problems I would still have it because I'd never know there could have been a chance nothing would have been wrong with the baby. If a woman is raped, there is always adoption. I used to feel that abortion could be acceptable in cases of rape but I know a few people that were raped, chose not to abort, and love their kids none the less.

This is an amazing picture I found just yesterday. It's not an aborted fetus but a 21 week old fetus undergoing surgery. Abortion is still legal at 21 weeks. Check out this picture and read the caption and you'll see why I am so against abortion. I keep seeing women say "no one is going to tell me what to do with my body." Why don't they think about that innocent child? It's the child's body that gets ripped apart and murdered.

I'd like to clear up this partial-birth abortion thing. Why on earth would a woman carry a child to term just to have it aborted, when that abortion is extremely risky to the mother? answer : because her and the baby are in extreme danger to go through labor. This happens in high risk pregnancies that women decide NOT to abort, and try anyhow. It is illegal for women to have this abortion. It is illegal in my state to have an abortion after the first trimester, as it is in most states. My insurance will not cover more than one abortion in 2 years. Most abortion clinics will not take you back within 2 years of a previous one. You also have to agree, and take with you, birth control. I like how everyone blames the woman, holds the woman responsible, but the men? Where are they? Where is the man's accountability? Whether people like it or not, abortion isn't a right, it is a POWER women have, and women have ALWAYS throughout time, taken the lead in raising families. Abortions will happen, legal or not. But, who wants to send women back to the days of back-alley abortions? Not me. It's an unfortunate necessity.

I think abortion should not be a political or legal issue. It is an issue of the heart and conscience. Women who have an abortion must live with their decision for a lifetime, I am one of those women.
Abortion is a highly sensitive topic for all. But I do believe it should be the womans (and mans) choice. And yes I do believe it should be legal, if it was not woman would still have abortions at illegal clinics in who knows what kind of conditions.

I think it should be legal. A woman should have the right to decide if she wants to be an incubator for 9 months. In cases such as rape, incest, or life-threatening problems with mother/child there should be no question about the legality.

I however do not agree with the partial birth abortions. If you've carried the child for 9 months, are in the process of having it, why not just give it up for adoption if you don't want it. You are essentially murdering somebody with the partial birth abortions.

God invented abortion and has a number of obvious reasons that he uses it. God seems to miscarry fetuses if there are health problems for the child or the mother. But he aborts in other situations also. And those could be because God simply knows that now is not the right time, or that the child will have other problems other than health. So God shows us that abortion is right in nearly all situations. My God is an all powerful God that does not kill in abortion. MY God takes the soul of the fetus and protects it and then simply expels the fetus. There is no killing or death associated with an abortion sanctified by God.
The god of the pro life movement though, kills doctors, fetuses and bombs clinics. That is why I do not believe in their god. If you want to make something against the law, make it the pro life movement.

Never.

I get really sick of people saying that it's better to abort than to leave your baby in a dumpster, blah blah blah. This doesn't seem to be a problem...it's only VERY rarely that you see a news story about a baby being left on the side of the road, in a trash can, etc. and the story always ends with "...baby Jane Doe is fine and is leaving the hospital tonight with her adoptive parents!" You can't just assume that this happens. And you can't use abortion as a form of birth control. What is WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

I think abortion should be a ladies choice and there's alone. (as long as they're not using it as a form of birth control.) I think most people are moral and no one wants to have a abortion.....but in some cases like rape, severe complications, etc only a mother to be can and should make that decision.

I believe that it should be the woman's choice therefore abortion should be legal, because you don't want women delivering babies and leaving them in dumpsters like we have seen before, if the child is not wanted there should be options for the woman, even though yes it is her fault not the childs, but I feel that it is worse to give birth to a child and leave it for dead.

Pro-choice here, with this caveat: a woman should NEVER depend on abortion as a method of birth control. If she was using a RELIABLE method (i.e., barrier, chemical, etc) and still becomes pregnant, then yes, a woman should be allowed to make her choice.

Under NO circumstances should a woman be required to carry to term a baby that is a product of incest or rape. And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER should a MAN on Capitol Hill tell ME or any other WOMAN what to do with her life and her body. End of story.
