my nosey neighbor saw my husband and i at the lab when i was getting blood work. she wanted to know what we were doing there. i told her we were going through a local fertility specialist to have a baby and i needed labs. she looked at my husband in shock and ASKED HIM what his ex-wife thinks about him having another child... WHY WOULD SHE ASK THAT? (she does know his ex-wife, she still lives in our town)

I'm only 18 years old and i have an almost 5 monthold daughter. I gained 50 pounds straight out in front while pregnant and i had to have c-section because my 8 pound 10.5 ounce baby got stuck in the top of my hips. I'm only 5 foot 2 inches tall and i feel like i am completely disfigured. some ppl tell me to exersize others tell me that surgery is the only way to go. I dont know what to do. im starting college in september, i work everyday i don't have much self-esteem at all and i have no sex drive. My b/f is mad @ me for not wanting sex, cuz i don't even want to look at myself, and theres no help there. I just need some advice from others who are in, or have been in my shoes.

A girl has just asked the question as to how she can go about having an abortion. Some of the responses to her have been so scary, i.e one lady asked her to imagine the babies cries etc. etc This is not helpful at all!!Others say she will definately regret having the operation as she will never forget or forgive herself. I really worry aboutsome of the advice given out on this site. She may regret having the baby at all!
The girl has asked where she can go for help for having an abortion, she has not asked what do you think about her having one.

The situation is: My husband and I both work full time, and we're fortunate enough to have my mom watch our two boys (aged 28 months and 12 months) during the day. We recently moved, and I started a new job where I make considerably more money than I did. This allows us to be able to afford to do fun things with our kids on the weekends that we previously weren't financially able to do on a regular basis. We've never gone without, but my husband and I have lived paycheck to paycheck even before we had kids. I love my job now, but the problem I'm having is that I'm the breadwinner, and it's impossible for me to be a stay at home mom. Financially, my husband and I both have to work to be able to run our family/household. We don't want to become financially strapped. As it is now, I see our kids only on the weekends, really. I see them 10 minutes in the morning, and by the time I get home at night, fix dinner, do the dishes, etc. it's time for the kids' to go to bed. More...

to the hospital. & he told me all kinds of bad stuff about Ray*. ( He was saying he didn't care about me, his family didn't care about me, & he didn't want me ever seeing my boyfriend again & he wasn't allowed to see me or the baby, when it was born.)
I'm feed up & stressed with all this, I don't know what to do. Should I move out, or..should I just stay away for a while to give him time to breathe? & Is there anyway I could move out legally, since I'm only 17?

He thinks in the future we should try to only have one child so that we can afford to give him/her the best, but I'm a firm believer that having an only child isn't good because the child misses out on having that "sibling bond" and he/she can also be spoiled.
(Money isn't an issue, we'll be pretty "comfortable" by then, he just wants the child to be able to have anything and everything, and I think he believes having only 1 would be easier and enable us to do more fun things.)
Any suggestions on how to convince him having 2 children is better than 1? Or any stories you might have?

Whenever I ask a question about something I need to figure out & it has to do with my baby, there are people who tell me to ask the father & when I tell them there isn't one they shake their head in mock sorrow, ask why I didn't "wait for the right one"(or say, "we all make our own choices & then we have to live with them"), & I can tell by the looks they give they assume I'm inadequate, or worse yet, a "welfare mommy". Why do a lot of people assume all of this without stopping to consider the possibility of rape? I never 'chose' to make a baby...a choice was made for me, my body chose to form a baby, and I chose to let her live & love her. If so many rapes are happening every day, why is the possibility of rape pregnancy so overlooked?

I first put my son in daycare at about 9 months in a center. I recently at a year old put him in a home daycare. Things have been great but i'm still thinking of putting him back in a center. I know in the future we want a second child so do I switch him now to get used to it or keep him where he is until we actually conceive the next child.

Ok heres the deal.... I have a 6 month old son. I have been on birth control since he was 6 weeks old. I had been taking the pills regular but then some stressful situations came up and I just plain out forgot to take them for like 5-6 days, So I thought I would wait until I started my period and then just start a new pack, Well the last time I took a pill was on the 21 of june, No period yet, And 2 p/g test say neg. So I don't know what is going on? Any advice would be great. I am 24 years old, this is the first time I have ever been on Birth control pills. so I don't know if this is normal.

I had a miscarriage almost a month ago. I have not had a period yet, but I have had unprotected sex twice since then. My back started hurting really bad a couple of days ago, like I was on my period but I never started bleeding. Do you think I could be pregnant? We want a baby so bad, but also don't want to go through another miscarriage. Please help. Serious answers only please.
