i belong to a mums group we are all of differing ages and backgrouds and currently i am the only single one among them.. i have a son who is 16 months old.. there are 5 of us in total in the group and all our children range from 15 months to almost 2 years... the little boy who is about to turn 2 is having a party and my son is the only one in the group who has not been invited to the party... everyone else got invitations in the mail.. should i confront the mother of this child or should i just forget about it?? please help....

You realize alot of things after sitting at a public pool for a few hours. I was at a public pool on Friday and I just could not believe how many obese children there are! I saw 10 year old girls in women's swimming suits. There were 7 or 8 year old boys with 'breasts' bigger than mine! There was one girl I saw that stood out the most, she was probably 8 years old and her gut was hanging down lower than her crotch. Then she went to the consession stand and got a funnel cake. I watched her eat it. She ate the cake and then licked her fingers and literally ran the paper place across her tongue to get the powdered sugar off! I just can't believe how many children were that big. I mean they weren't just chubby or fat---they were obese! It's almost a form of child abuse. I mean you don't just get skinny when you're that big. It's so sad that probably half of those kids I saw are going to die before they're 50 just because their parents are too lazy to make them exercise. What do you think?

my son is 4 and when he is asleep he has this thing when he starts to kick the bed. its hard to decribe what he does. when he is on his stomach he starts to lift his leg up and brings it back down like he is kicking the bed. is this normal. he has always done this. he cant sleep in bed with me cause of this. i will wake up with him kicking me in my butt. please help me with this.

answer this, can having sex in water make it so that you cant have kids later? I heard that it pushes water up in places it shouldnt go and can mess up your uterus and overies so that you cant get pregnant.

My boyf's older sister (now 20) just recently became pregnant, and I'm having trouble dealing with that for some reason. Suddenly, I HATE her (even more than usual) and want to know EVERYTHING about pregnancies. Also, I'm always sad now and think about my real mother that I never see. I have a 9 yr old daughter and I am pregnant again. I don't know if it is proper to have another shower. I have almost all of the large items still from my 1st child. So, I would only need the smaller stuff like clothes, diapers, bottles, toys, etc.. So, even if I do have a shower is it proper to put gift instructions in the invitation?

I found out the day before coming to Iraq that I am the father of a beautiful 2 1/2 week old girl. The mother (my ex of 6 years) did not want me included in anything because she thought the child was her current bf's. I had to leave the States without getting anything taken care of as far as getting the child enrolled and covered by the Army (DEERS and Tricare). I am also having trouble getting the correct answers from Legal Assistance here as the majority of the people are Air Force. Can anyone tell me what paperwork is needed and what I need to do to take care of this? I know I can contact JAG back home, but was wondering if there were any alternatives. Thank you for the help!

I must admit I really liked my ex-boyfriend. He even took my virginity .We had been going out for about 8 months, but lately he had started trippin so I decided to cut him loose. Well what really mad me mad was when we planned to hang out last week on Tuesday and he never called me on that day , so I called him later on that afternoon and his phone ringed twice then it went to his voicemail so i know he had to reject my phonecall. Its been about a week and I still havent heard from him. He always claims he's going to come see me and never shows up or calls. Well I recently might this new boy. He's so finnneee!!! I serve as secretary for an organization for SAHM. I was a SAHM during the time that I was elected to the position, but now I work part-time. I also head up monthly lunchs for moms and our kids and I am editor of the quarterly newsletter. I feel that my life is sort of evolving and becoming very, very hectic now that I am back at work. I want to finish my term as Secretary, but at the same time I am so busy with everything else in my life. I am thinking about resigning as Secretary of the chapter, b/c it has become a stressor in my life.

We have about 25 members and we have always had trouble getting members to be active outside of playgroup. There are people who show up to events, but never volunteer to do anything. It is a volunteer organization, but every year there are about 6-8 who hold the chapter up. It becomes draining after a while. I don't plan to renew my membership right away in 2007 b/c I need a break, but what should I do about my secretarial position for 2006?
