that was two weeks ago. she has been plagued by nausea, headaches and fatigue ever since. her doctor said it may be a reaction to either her birth control or the antibiotic that they gave her to avoid infection. anyone have an experience like this?

your fourth. you feel like ****. you thought you were done, you don't really want another child and of course you used protection because the doctor didn't have time to tie your tubes, you almost died with your 3rd c-section. all your co-workers are happy and excited for you. they give you a baby shower at work and present you with alot of gifts and money. you lose the baby three weeks later. it's very difficult to face anyone, you're out of work for weeks with only half your pay, do you keep the gifts and money or do you give them back, you go back to work only to find out they have taken up a collection for you, what do you do what do you say?

I was in line at Burger King a few days ago and I had my window rolled down. The lady in front of me rolled down her window to order and in seconds the cigarette smell from her car (that was at least 10 feet ahead of me) filled my car. The worst part was, she had a couple little kids with her. I could barely breathe--I couldn't even imagine how bad her car must have smelled or even worse how bad her home must smell. I thought to myself "Her kid's lungs must just be filled with that second hand smoke 24/7." Do you think second hand smoke should be considered child abuse? I mean it's one thing to have a dirty habit for instance drinking. If you drink then it's only affecting your health, not the health of innocent people around you right? What about those innocent kids in that car who's lungs are probably blackened from their mother's smoking? I don't think that's right and it should be child abuse what do you think?

I would like to hear parents experiences who have been there. What effects did your approach to nighttime wakings seem to have on your child? What was your situation? What did you do? What would you do differently?
I am interested to know which side of the debate on psychological and emotional long term damage being done to children who are made to cry it out verses the benefits of sleep training for a healthy child who can get a good night's sleep. I know that people are pretty passionate about this.
We are currently dealing with our own issues with multiple nighttime wakings in our 4.5 month old.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

I know many do it but we never hear about it. If so many people actually listen to what they say and do what they do why don't they speak up about this issue? I'm not saying that they have to put down formula feeders but just speak up and lend their image as an example. After all, these are working mothers. Sure, they can afford to have help around the house and with their kids but it is still a great example. C'mon, if Christie Brinkley wasn't worried about sagging breasts, why should any of us?

Hi Everyone. I'm so worried about my baby being too spoiled. She is due August 29th (YAY! 5 more weeks!) and she will be the first grandchild on both sides. I know there is no way to prevent her from being spoiled, but it's very important to me that my child isn't TOO spoiled. I have a very generous mom and MIL...and I'm very grateful for what they do, but for example..for Christmas last year, my mom bought my DOG a Coach collar, leash and bowl!! Do you have any idea how much that makes me panic about what she'll do with my HUMAN child?? Is there anyone who has gone through the same thing? Any tips?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I don't have any children yet but I want to name my daughter Theresa Cheyenne (who knows what my last name will be by then) I also like masculine names for girls such as Reese, Cory, Terrell and some others that slip my mind at the time.

I want to name my son either Keanu (no not after the actor, I just like that name), Delmarko, or Torian (no it's not a girls name)

This of course I'll have to run this pass my husband when I get married.

What did u want to name ur child when u were growing up and what did u name ur child after the baby was born and why?

My wife is 9 weeks pregnant. She still has some "morning sickness" and she says she throws almost once a day, never on weekends though. My question is this, I'm in the military, I work all day, and when I come home the house is always a pig pen. She only washes a dish if she needs it to eat right then. She doesn't care that our two little dogs "pee pads" need to be changed, and the house smells like dog urine. There are tons of clothes all over the bedroom. Her definition of doing laundry is washing, drying, then throwing the dry clothes on the floor.

I work FULL time, and she does NOT work at all. Stays at home playing on the internet and watching tv all day. She claims its because of the pregnancy makes her feel nauseous. But she has plenty of energy to do fun things, just never feels up to doing any work around the house.

How do I get her back off her ***?

I was prescribed Microgynon 30 for painful periods, i take x3 packs of 21 then take 7 day break. I was on the 18th pill of the first pack when i had unprotected sex a week ago. I take my pills everynight give or take an hour or so. Im now feeling sick, quite tired and am getting cramp in my stomach even though i shouldnt have a period for another 2 packs. Could i be pregnant or most likely paranoid?

I take 3 packs in row cuz i use to get such painful periods and have to take days off work. this means that i only get a period every 63 days and they are less painful. Because i dont take them as instructed ont he pack could this increase my risk? I have been taking the pill since October of last year. The doctor told me to take it like that.

I have never got these cramps after the first pack before nor have i ever felt sick with on the pill. Im moodier than ever aswell in the past 2 days and also fell asleep yesterday and the day before mid-afternoon.

When I got in put it in May 2001 my Doctor told me it would be effective untill May 2011 which is great but now I keep hearing that the same brand name can now be left in for up to 12 years which would make it effective untill May 2013 (numerous websites with medical expert advice and also contrception.com says the same thing) anyone else heard about this? Thanks
