I am the biggest big-mouth in the world, so there was NO WAY i could keep the news under wraps. I told my best friend about two seconds after I took the first test, told my mom three days later (had to wait that long because I wanted to tell her on her birthday), told my parents-in-law the next day, and told my dad the day after that. I was so excited! I wanted to scream it from the roof top!

With my first pregnancy (twins) I told the entire world by the time I was 6 weeks along. Around the fourth month I had complications and lost the babies. I remember how embarrassed I was that everyone knew. I remember thinking d@mn, why didn't I just wait to tell everyone. It was very emotional for me to think that my entire family knew about the loss, from my neice to my grandparents. This made the loss way harder.
People don't know this until they experience it but about 50% of pregnancies are lost and those odds scare the he11 out of me. Hopefully, you wont have to go through this but it is a good idea to wait as long as you can, just in case.
With this pregnancy I told a few close people as soon as I found out because I had to tell someone other then my husband. The rest of my family didn't find out until about a month ago (4th month).
So good luck and I hope this helped.

I got pregnant...and like you I couldn't wait to tell people...I started telling some at 6 weeks...the I lost it (had a blighted ovum...sperm and egg met but didn't develop) I then had to tell people that I lost it...Your hubby is right...wait the 3 months..s.aves a lot of heartache when people ask how the pregnancy is going

I waited till I was showing, which in my case was 4 months. I didnt want people to make a big deal out of it. It wasnt their business, it was mine.
And after I had the baby, it seemed like I didnt even exist! All they focused on was my baby. Well, I lived in a place I wasnt comfortable in, and didnt have any family or close friends who lived there either. Maybe if I would have, I would have told people sooner.
I did tell my sister right away tho.

OMG no, I didn't share it, I was only 18 and scared to death! The only person I shared it with was my partner, then we waited about 1 month before we told everyone else.
