My fiance and I are waiting to have a baby until we're married but we have SERIOUS baby fever. We talk about it ALL the time. Anyone else the same way? What kind of things can you not stop talking about?

It was actually my fiance who made me realize that I do want a family sooner rather than later.

I think I've had baby fever for several years now. My mom's had grandmother fever since I was 19, lol. My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years now, and even though we BOTH wanted kids right away, I am really glad we decided to wait until now to start trying. We've been together for almost 9 years, so I didn't think being just the two of us in our own place was gonna be a big deal. Turns out I've really enjoyed the time we've had to ourselves and the freedom to go wherever or spend money on whatever we want (within reason, of course). I'm SO not telling you what to do, but my own experience has helped me realize that waiting a little longer was a great thing.
But to answer your question, oh my gawsh, yes! EIGHT women at my work had babies this past year, and Britney Spears is freakin' pregnant with her SECOND before I've had a chance to have my first. I'm not jealous, but antsy isn't the best word either. Because of how my insurance works, I've had to wait until now to start trying if I want to actually have any money during maternity leave. It's been really hard not to just kidnap a co-worker's kid these past few months. :P Best of luck with your upcoming marriage and family. :D

Oh man do I ever! I am pregnant (35 weeks) so I don't have long to wait...but it seems like it has been YEARS since we decided to start trying and I am SO ready to walk into the nursery and actually see a BABY in the room! I go in there every day and every day I sigh and leave...it is like a kid seeing Christmas presents and being told not to touch them! Best of luck to you while you are patiently waiting...

No, I'm over 40 and my child is over 16. I definately do NOT have baby fever! I only had one child. Two ex husbands and I want no more to do with children ! Don't be in a rush to have kids. I can't stop talking about mine graduating from highschool/college. Mine is a teen and she's driving me nuts !

You're so lucky that BOTH of you have baby fever. My cousin is 31 and has the worst case I've ever seen...but her boyfriend isn't ready. It's terrible for her.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to be patient. Best of luck with your wedding! And "get to work" the night of the wedding *wink*

Get married real soon and have that baby. You obviously want it very much (that's the answer to your last question).
