No. Once the first sperm breaks the wall of the egg (impregnating the woman), that's it. The semen's job is over. No more sperm break through.

After that point, semen (no matter when or where applied) adds nothing to the development or health of the baby.

Is your friend pregnant? If so, sounds like her baby daddy is just trying to get some. Dudes like that will also tell you that semen is good for sore throats, or that you can't get pregnant your first time. Either way, don't believe 'em...

Your friend is lieing. Semen does not affect a growing baby at all. When a woman is pregnant she has something called a mucous plug in her cervix. This is very thick mucous that blocks anything from coming through and harming the baby. Sex does not help a baby grow it just works out the lower pelvic muscles and this helps during delivery.

I love reading the answers of people who are clueless.

Most women can actually have sex right up to the point shortly before delivery. If you are uncomfortable at any time, stop. Not a big deal. Your man won't poke out the baby's eyes or anything. That is why God created the placental sack. It cushions the baby among other things.

Tell your friend who thinks that semen helps the baby grow not to have kids. She probably believes that *** on her face is also good for the complexion.

LOL Awesome question. NO, there is absolutely no chance the baby can grow because of the semen.
On the other hand, babies can feel their mom's emotions before they are born. So having sex, which is an activity FULL of good emotions, can help the psychological development of the baby.

No not at all.

After a women gets pregnant her cervix closes up. Semen cannot enter the uterus where the baby is at. Plus, the baby is in this sac filled the amniotic fluid.

The only thing that helps the baby grow is the mom providing nutrients to the fetus via the umbilical cord.

No it's not true.
While you're pregnant you're baby is surrounded by an amniotic sack so even if semen miraculously helped the growth of the baby it still wouldnt happen.
Semen is needed just so that one sperm cell fertilizes that 1 egg, after that their job is over..

No, the semen will never reach the baby dear. The baby is protected in the placenta. And it won't hurt the baby either. Sex can be good during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester, it can induce labor if you're past your due date. something about the waves of an orgasm can trigger labor.

In all truthfulness, having sex will not help or harm the child.
A survey was taken to see if having sex would lessen the time of pregnancy, the results were that there was no indication that having sex would shorten the pregnancy time and in addition having sex apparently does not harm the child. This was an old wives tale proven wrong.
Semen will do nothing to harm or help the child either. Not withstanding any diseases that is.

NO INDEED!

Semen does contain prostaglandins that, late in pregnancy, can help the cervix thin out and flatten, to help bring about labor. Although being 9 mos. PG is hardly the time you feel like having sex LOL, but it can be beneficial to the woman then.
