he has his own bed. the only times he sleeps in my bed is when his sister goes to her grandmas house. where i live i dont trust leaving him alone in that room by himself.

we usually wake ourselves up if we were to move when we dream
children usually sleep a much deeper sleep and hense are a bit more lively with there actions...
make him sleep in his own bed... and dont worry about a thing
he could be kicking a football in his dreams

I think children are restless sleepers, for the most part. My 4 year old is also a kicker. I don't think you have anything to worry about. However, if he continues to do this and you feel you have reason to be concerned, I would consult a doctor and ask if he should do a sleep study. A sleep clinic may be able to help him.

Ah, the jimmy leg. Didn't you see that Seinfeld? He's going to have to get Ozzie and Harriett beds when he gets married. : )
Why would you ask the question here, and not to his doctor?

well letting your 4 yr old sleep with you is not good i'm sure and as for normal.... if that is how he sleeps I'm sure it is fine. If it concerns you talk to your child's DR.
