I had a miscarriage almost a month ago. I have not had a period yet, but I have had unprotected sex twice since then. My back started hurting really bad a couple of days ago, like I was on my period but I never started bleeding. Do you think I could be pregnant? We want a baby so bad, but also don't want to go through another miscarriage. Please help. Serious answers only please.

Hey, you again!!! I like answering your questions I guess! I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. My wife just had a miscarriage in May. Her doctor told her that she shouldn't try to get pregnant again for at least one more "cycle" due to increased risk of another miscarriage. I don't know anything more than what our doctor said about it, so I don't know what to tell you about your pains. Sorry. I wish you the best of luck with your situation!

I am really not sure if you could get pregnant again that soon, but the miscarriage could cause you to have irregular cycles and it would not be unheard of to skip a period right after the loss. I also don't know if a pregnancy test would be accurate at this point. You may get a false positive as your body may still have levels of pregnancy hormone that could reflect on the test. The best advice is see your doctor, they could order blood draws that could gage the levels of hormone which could be used to decipher as to whether they were related to the previous pregnancy or a new one. Best of luck to you. I know this has to be a very upsetting time for you.

I think you should take a home preg. test to figure out if you are or arent. But it is a def. possiblity that you could be. But I dont belive that you could be cuz i learned that it takes 3 months for the body to heal from a miscarriage so im pretty sure that its just that your have irregular period and probably the back aches could be due to stress or something.

You shouldn't let yourself get pregnant before 6 months after the miscarriage, anyway you could be now, but take care of yourself and always check with a doctor.

I am not sure how late are you?
I would say that the best thing is to try an over the counter test first. Most of them elicit an accurate result. If it's negative, Then try the doctor if you still dont have your period.
Some other symptoms like breast tenderness, being tired are also signs that you could be pregnant.
Good luck!

Get a home pregnancy test. No one here can really give you any accurate information.
