I know alot of you are probably wondering why I would want to record a C-Section, and my answer to that is not so I can show everyone but so I can see for myself my bundle of joy comming into this world. I also know that everything has to be very sterile, some women have recorded their's and I was just wondering if any of you as in the public has ever been able to record your's or not that's all. I'm not crazy or sick I just wanted to be able to see my son come into this world and witness his first cry and the look on his face and the way he will stretch for the first time being out of that cramped tight space. Thank You for your thought's and answer's.

When I had my c-section, my husband was the only one allowed in the room. They would not allow him to videotape the actual birth, due to some kind of hospital policy. I think you just need to check with the hospital and find out what they allow. Our hospital only allowed us to video everything prior to the surgery, and after the birth.

just your husband or boyfriend if their there otherwise just one other family member or friend and no you cant record it hospitals wont allow that. you can record the baby once its out and with the nurses though. we asked this right before my c-section. the birth is too graphic and gross and the field is streile. they ewont let you anywhere near it. you could contaminate it. this is surgery you know

Only the father was allowed in the room with me, and it was something I definitely didn't want recorded. You'll just have to ask your doctor.

typically just your labor partner/spouse. they will let you take photos at some hospitals, however MANY hospitals no longer allow video to be taken during birth, as it can come back to haunt them if a doctor/nurse makes a mistake. It's sad, really.
