Are there any grants for this type of research? Perhaps the pro-life movement donates money to this research? I thing that would solve the abortion issue once and for all. No more abortions because women could hand the fetus over for someone else to grow and care for.

Wow! You are some kind of woman! We need to chat.

Fetus transplants? Are they possible? Sure. Maybe.

The kinds of research that take place on embryonic tissue (that is, a really, really tiny fetus) use the first cluster of cells called the blastocyte. It's microscopic and looks like a pea with a dimple in it. This is the thing that pro-life people call the beginning of life and don't want harmed.

But I don't think that you are actually interested in science...I believe you have other interests and need to look into yourself and ask what those might be.

What are your feelings about pregnancy? It's a huge topic for woman and it's something within the realm of emotions rather than factual science data. That's the level at which understanding comes, not investigating the politics of transplant medicine.

If you actually mean gestate the foetus until birth then a big, fat NO. This is one of the most complex and unknown area of human health and development. The baby also reacts to hormone levels, sounds, light etc from the mother and sends signals back to help baby grow. Trying this would be the same as locking a newborn baby in a box and putting a tube for food in one end and a tube for excretea in the other and expecting a fully developed adult to pop out after 18 years.
This research would end in one result, lots of dead foetus'

I think that is way out of modern science's league. That would be very complicated and possibly life threatening.
