Sounds like an infection. You did the right thing and called the doctor. You said she prescribed antibiotics and that you had an appointment to see her. You took all the right steps so now just see what the doctors say. If just an infection it will clear up. Of course it may be a bit painful for awhile. Just glad to hear that you did call the doctor. so many people come on hear asking what to do and dont have the common sence to do what you did. good luck to you. Congrats on new baby and don't be scared you will be fine.

See a doctor, don't just rely on phone advice. You said you're going today, which is good. A doctor needs to see it and feel it to make a proper diagnosis. Your blood pressure, temperature, and other vital signs will give clues also.
And don't worry; infections happen but shouldn't cause any long-term problems if treated promptly and correctly. One last thing - if you continue to have problems even after you see the doctor or take antibiotics, you might check into whether they left a sponge or bit of gauze inside you during surgery.

it sounds like you have a smalli nfection you may have been moving around too much or doing things you were not suppost to be doing,The anti biotics should clear it up in about 7 to 10 days.I had 3 c-sections and I had an infection with my 2nd child because he had to stay in the hospital when I went home.I went to the hospital 3 times a day and I wasn't getting rest and I pulled a staple out of place.get more rest if you can.

The same exact thing happened to me after I had my first child! I was only 16 when it happened and of course I thought my incision had busted open and went to the E.R. only to find out that it was normal and it was just fluid draining, they told me to keep it clean and dry and not to lift on anything BTW this happened to me the day they took my staples out!

I have not had that but it definitely sounds like an infection, I would go to the doctor or the emergency room today. Don't let this become worse. Good luck

Is your fluid draining like it should? Are you cleaning the drainage hole with peroxide and a q-tip? I guess if the doctor didn't see anything wrong with it, it's okay. It is kind of scary. I hope you get things worked out.
