At a 9:00 movie the other night, when I went to see Mr. Woodcock, I was sitting in front of a couple with a baby. At one point the infant started screaming and continued for five minutes. The parents just kept watching the show. I wanted to suggest that one of them take him outside - should I have?

My baby will be 9 months old on Nov 6th. I was wondering if anyone has some help for me. I feed her those Gerber baby foods, but the stage 2s are to watery for her, shes trying to chew it but theres nothing to chew. I dont know what i should give her, the only stage 3 foods that we have found that she liked was stuff that was tomato based and she brok eout really bad with that. So i was wondering should i just keep going the way i am or are there other things i can give her. She hates fruits and LOVES veggies. She has 4 teeth already and can chew good, but sometimes when shes feeding herself she tends to stick the food to far back and gags. I dont want to give her anything she can choke herself with. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, Can you tell me what a normal 7 month old babies poo is supposed to be like? He eats about 30 oz of formula a day and eats 1-2 times a day of fruit, veggies or rice cereal and has been since he was 5 months. But the past few weeks his poo is more formed and solid and shaped, not like before when it used to be just a big bunch of muck. He goes every other day. Does this mean he is constipated or is this normal. I am confused because everyone says different thing. What does it sound like to you. Poo is usually soft and not hard balls, he had those before too.

Ok I have posted allot on here about my son getting his shots.
He gets them tomorrow and im a nervous wreck.
I am going to talk to the ped because i want to get them spaced out. Any suggestions?
I hope i dont get no crap from the doc about this cuz i will change docs if she caint respect my wishes for my son.
Is there any advice someone can give me on keeping it together cuz i know i will cry when he does.
Anything i need to look out for. When is the best time to give him tylenol? Im not going to give it to him befor hand his ped said not to cuz it will mask any problems that may acur.
Is there anyone who had there baby get reactions from these shots. Im really nervous as you all may can tell.
He is suppose to get his DTaP, HIB, Hep-Vac, PCV, IPV, and Roto. But im getting them spaced. I dont know what or how but i will talk to the ped about it.
Also he seems conjested should i still get them? He has been poopin allot more than normal but not vomiting or fever.

My son is 4 months almost 5 months. And im just curious as to what your baby is doing at this age. Our son started reaching for toys, holding them, he tries to do sit ups everytime you lay him down LOL, he loves sound and lights, he can sit when his legs are supported. He started baby foods stage 1. Loves bananas :) and squash :). I havent seen him roll over much. Maybe once or twice. He smiles all the time. He chews on everything. Whats your child doing at this age??!?! THANKS!

my 6 month old daughter started a new habit lately and I find it hilarious but strange. She used to coo, babble, baby talk, laugh and all that. Only now for some odd reason all that has almost ceased for a very low pitched gurgley Growl. Sounds evil and menacing. It freaks my sister out when she watches her. She also gets this mischevious slantly eye look while shes doing it. I have tried to get her to go back to the cutsie sounds but she prefer the demon baby approach to talking. YIKES does anyone elses kids do that.... OF COURSE I know nothings wrong with her and love her all the same but I am just curious.

This means my son will be around 15months when i have my baby, I am worried that this close age gap is going to be make it very difficult to cope, and give them both enough attention. Has anyone else had kids with a close age gap, if so how did you find it?

What's wrong with giving a baby formula?
How about if I don't want to breast feed what is the whole controversy?

I only have three months left... (Iam having a harder time quitting than baby!) I cant wait to wear real people clothes, instead of mismatched shirts that some how fit these giant milk jugs.

Wondering what other mom's do. Those of you who breastfeed past the age of one, do you give cow milk as well or just water? My little one will be turning 1 here in a week, still breastfeeding and will continue to breastfeed until he decides he is done. He has a sippy that he drinks water out of, should the combination of nursing and sippies of water be enough liquids for him? Do you introduce cow milk? My family keeps saying that he needs cow milk after a year, but I just don't quite get how he should "need" it when he will be still nursing.

My 8 month old nephew has it all! His grandparents buy him nearly everything he could ever want. For example, he has 3 different kinds of exosaucers and the jungle jump up. He has EVERYTHING! And more clothes than you can imagine! I love the little guy and he is visiting in a couple weeks. What can I get for the 8 month old that has everything?

My son is 7months old and still nursing throughout the day. He has a bottle of formula at night (around 10pm) and eats solids at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I breastfeed about 4 times a day now. I want to start weaning for personal reasons and I'm worried that I won't be able to calm him down if he's too upset. Sometimes he gets so wound up from crying before a nap that I don't know what to do other than to nurse him. It always calms him but I'm worried about weaning. What if I can't calm him down?
