She said she didn't want it to "go to waste".
I guess this answers the question that was posted a few weeks ago about how much breastmilk would go for if sold.

What do you think? Would you sell your breastmilk if someone would buy it? Would you buy someone else's breastmilk to feed your baby?

My little one normally wakes me ~once/night in order to nurse. Occasionally, as of late, she has lasted the whole night (~7pm-6/6:30pm) without her waking me up (via the monitor). It started happening when she got really good at finding her thumb. Anyway, it seems an awfully long time to go without feeding. Should I set my alarm and wake her if she doesn't wake me, or is it ok to just wait until she wakes me? By the way, she's a healthy 14-15 pound gal.

My son will be 1 year on the 30th of November...this month!! He is still not sleeping thru the night. He still wakes up to eat once, sometime between 4:30 and 5am. He eats table food regularly. I give him a big solid meal 2 hours before bed and an 8oz bottle right before bed. He takes 2, 2hour naps during the day. The last one is 4 hours before bed time. He gets worn out during the day. I have created a night time routine.

What I do when he wakes up. I get up as soon as he cries. I give him his pacifier back, change his diaper and put him back to sleep. If still wont sleep I give him his pacifier back(if he need it) if not, I just pat him. If still wont go to sleep I feed him.

How can I get him to sleep? And please no stupid CIO comments. I don't have the heart fot that and it dosn't work on my son(I have tried it a couple of times) He just gets more worked up and eventually hyperventilates.

Does anyone know why he is doing this? At 1 the dont NEED to eat at night..do they?

I just found out from Yahoo answers that there are a number of milk ducts that emerge in a woman's nipple, not just one hole. But then one person seemed to be saying that milk ducts emerge from the whole area of the nipple. I thought it was just from the end face of the raised teat part of the nipple. I was thinking that person was probably wrong. Do the sides of the teat or the nipple area around the teat also have milk ducts emerging from them? Or is it generally one way and maybe there are also exceptions for some women?

Have you raised your cat to take car rides with you?
Just adopted an adorable kitten.
Would LOVE to train this cat from kittenhood to adulthood to ride in cars, take cat walks {on one of those cat leashes they sell}, and from the start {after all their shots/distemper,ect} give them occassional baths--not a lot of baths just maybe once a month
BACK TO CAR QUESTION THOUGH :o)
thanks

I read that after you give birth, you should not drive a car for 2 weeks. Why would that be?

Ok, so I had my daughter about a week ago. My parents are saying I need to give her up for adoption but I don't want to and neither does her father. I'm taking very good care of my daughter. I'm going to do school online which i've been wanting to do even before I was pregnant. Me and my boyfriend love her so much! What should we do?
I'm 14 and he's 15 although we're both in the same grade.

I have a baby girl named Myah who is two weeks old tomorrow. She wakes up in the middle of the night coughing. I'm not sure what to do. I have another daughter but nothing like this has ever happened to her. Like every night at 12:30 she'll wake up coughing, then crying then coughing again. What should I do?

My daughter is 4 months. I started her on solids today. She is getting carrots right now. It seems to be a little to smooth or runny for her. Could I just add rice cereal to it to make it a little thicker?

please help other moms!!

i came from my babies doc today,my baby has poor weight gain and even lost weight(they did bloodwork to check for cancer, anemia)
imagine what a long weekend ill have waiting for those results

the baby really doesnt take in much formula
she just wont,so the doctor told me to just start giving her reg milk

im confused for 2 reasons #1 i thought if the baby wasnt eating a well balanced diet of people food (which mine doesnt do that either, shes really picky) that you need to keep them on the formula

#2 if she doesnt want to drink, she doesnt want to drink,so what differnce does it make whats in the bottle?

i am soo worried what do you guys think about the milk?and should i not give her food until she takes in the right amount of milk, but then how would i do that??

HELP! I am at my wits end with trying to feed my baby. He has been bottle feeding for over 2 months since he started refusing to breastfeed. I was pumping as much as I could until I went back to work so he was getting 3 formula and 3 breastmilk bottles a day. Going back to work stopped my milk supply so we had to switch to only formula. The baby started getting fussy with eating even when he was still getting breatmilk and it has now gotten to the point that he refuses the bottle entirely. We have been to the dr twice and got medicine for reflux both times..it didnt help at all. We now have to forcefeed him with a syringe or feed him right when hes almost asleep to get him to eat. I cant take watching him scream and cry when he eats...and I dont know what to do. He doesnt have any white spots in his mouth or on his tounge (ruling out thrush i think) and we have tried different nipples, flow speeds and formulas, weve even tried cup feeding. He will eat his ceral with no problem.

I have only seen this size at one store. I can't buy these all the time because they are at Kroger and they don't have one where I am at. I am just curious if you have seen this size at any other store?

How do you keep your high chair clean, especially when your baby likes to eat finger foods off the tray?

I know some people sterilise the tray in a dishwasher but, um we don't have a dishwasher, lol!

I usually just wipe the tray and seat (its plastic covered) over with antibacterial wipes or Dettol spray and a cloth everytime its used. Is this OK?
