he is still classed as 6weeks old and 8 bottles a day is very normal especially for a newborn baby. he is probably having a major growth spurt which is wonderful and means he is healthy!
8 bottles is about every 3 hours right? Thats normal but is he really hungry or just fussy so you feed him??? If he's drinking all of it every 3hours then keep doing it otherwise, try stretching him to 4 hourly but stimulating and playing with him for distraction. Dummies help too. Speak to your child health nurse or doctor about how much he is having but I think its totally normal.
Best of luck and congrats on the new bub!

I would say 6 weeks. Counting from the day he was born. This is how it is normally done!
Feeding wise I am unsure, but if you are in any worry, contact the correct medical person.
And Congratulations!

If he was born six weeks ago then he is six weeks old. Your due date is only an estimated due date, it is not a definite. Anyway why would he be 8 weeks old when he wasn't born then.

6 week sold...sometimes premies are 'counted' from their actual due date when they're older but late babies are just 'counted' from when they're born.

his age is from his birthdate. Your due date is just an estimated due date, not an exact science.
