My almost 3 month old baby and I sometimes watch BabyTV channel together. I talk to her about the program and sing the songs along to her they sing.

When I am changing her in the living room she looks up to the tv. I can be talking to her and she still watches the TV. If I am in the way she gets mad. If I turn it off so I cant talk to her while I'm changing her she gets mad.

My mother-in-law says that her watching TV can cause her to have seizures.

before i get any negative comments...I DONT PLOP HER IN FRONT OF THE TV & LEAVE HER FOR HOURS! I may fix a bottle, run to the bathroom, or answer the phone.

I'm not weaning my baby off the breast yet, but just want to be clear! Is weaning difficult? Nobody ever told me how painful and tiring breastfeeding was so I want to be informed on the weaning stage.

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks

My 5 week old son has been diagnosed with infant reflux and milk/soy protein allergy by his doctor. He is on nutramigen Formula and Zantac 3 times a day.. the crying and hurting has improved but he is still spitting up ALOT... Iv heard that as long as he is gaining weight and he is not in pain then the throwing up really isnt a problem... BUT it also comes out of his nose and THAT scares me because im scared he is sucking it back into his longs and im scared he will get breathing problems.. Should i worry, or is that not really a problem?

My son is 4 months. The pediatician had me start him on cereal due to Acid Reflux.Within the past week it has gotten alot worse. It seemed like the first week he did alot better, but now the projectile vomiting has gotten worse,he screams & cries all day long instead of just during & after feedings. He never offically tested him for it.I know thats what it has to be.He vomits(projectile)with every feeding, cant hold still while eatting, screams & cries during burping and after eatting, not keeping really anything down, all day long he is fidgity, fussy, cranky, crying & screaming. He pulls at his face and arches his back, gas(colic)he's almost impossible to hold, its almost like he's trying to throw himself. Its been a nightmere, from the day he was born, everyday has been like this. They kept telling me it was colic, but Im pretty sure its Acid Reflux.Monday he has a app.,so Im going to tell the dr. to start him on some kind of meds.

my 7 month old who has been sleeping through the night in her crib for months now she started waking up crying at around 4am. i have been making sure she is full before she goes to sleep, when i pick her up she goes right back to sleep on me but she wont let me put her back in her crib. so for my own sanity i have just been bringing her into our bed and she sleeps soundly until morning (i am not looking for lectures on how i am spoiling her or starting a bad habit, and i am not going to let her cry it out). i am just looking to see if anyone else has had this happen at this age, what could be causing her to not sleep through the night anymore and when did your baby grow out of it and go back to sleeping through the night in their own bed. Thanks!

So i'm babysitting tonight with my friends, and we are babysitting a year old baby. I think its a year old? The baby was asleep but then woke up, and now it won't go back to sleep. We gave her some finger foods, and she won't drink her milk, and she keeps crying. We changed her diaper and everything. So we then put her upstairs in her crib, and screamed and cried and kicked etc. And if she cries too much, her brother will wake up and tell his mom.

I am exclusively breastfeeding my 6 weeks old baby but I am struggling to get some milk out. I definitely have milk as my baby is putting on weight, looks very very full after each feed, has milk dripping from her cheek after each feed.

I have an AVENT manual breast pump so where could I be going wrong?

I dont have any children of my own so I wouldn't know.

I went to K-Mart expecting them to have cheap baby clothing but they were all $15+ for 1 article of clothing. So I went to the Gap looking for baby clothes on sale and ended up paying $15 for 1 pair of jeans for a 6-10 month old. Then 2 one pieces .. the ones that snap under the crotch. 3 articles of clothing for $35 .. was this reasonable ?

I had a hard time buying them b/c I pay the same prices for my clothing at gap and jc penny

thanks

i am a new mom and i am so confused. i feed my son with similac, the 2once that is already made that comes from the bottle not the tin.

i warm it in a cup, like put the bottle inside a cup full of hot water , warm it then give it to him.

sometimes he finishes it and sometimes just few sips.

i then change it( the remaining one ) in to his feeding bottles and keep it in the fridge. i change the nipple too when feeding time comes after re-warming it
someone just told me that once the milk has been warmed i cant keep it in the fridge but rather throw it away.

i find out that i waist so much already,, why cant i transfer the remaining one inn to a clean bottle and warm it later.?

please help me

When my 3 month old daughter needs her diaper changed I always wash her bottom with water (I actually hold her under the faucet) and then apply Mustela Bebe Hydrant (lotion).

I have a friend who has the Mustela Cleansing Milk and she says that you don't need to use water just use the Cleansing Milk (of course she wipes away poo if it is there).
Do you think this cleans enough? Isn't that just like rubbing the pee around mixed with the cleansing milk instead of actually washing it off?

Please do not tell me all the statistics about how great it is. I know all that stuff and how long they should be breastfed for. I am miserable about breastfeeding and was with my first also. I weaned him cold turkey after getting thrush at about 8 weeks. I am seriously thinking about weaning my 4 1/2 week old but would like to hear from people who have actually done it and how they did it. How long did it take?

My son is 9 days old I have been nursing him since birth. And right from the start he prefered my left breast to my right. What can I do to change that. He'll eat from the right but not for long he spits it out. My other problem is I got a pump the day before yesterday and every time I pump I can only get 2-3 oz total. Is this normal for the beginning? I'm clueless this is my first child.
