When our son was little, my fiance had night duty and had to keep the baby up for an hour after he ate (our son has reflux). So, he'd snuggle in, have a snack, and watch 'guy' flicks like Terminator, Rambo. etc.

He said he actually missed it when the baby started sleeping through the night!!

Obviously another parent of a newborn??? lol. If the baby wont sleep then comfort them and watch infomercials and plan on stuff to buy people for Christmas. If baby is sleeping them try to sleep yourself because you will be very tired when baby eventually wakes. Good luck.

Stand upside down in a corner. I said corner cuz... i dont want you to fall on something and get hurt. U will have some support in the corner cuz of the walls. Well... i guess i care for you and thats why said a corner. Seriously i guess ppl like you have enough and more time to blabber in net!?! hmmm well instead of blabbering just stand upside down. Its good for you as its a yogic posture that helps developing ur brains! Good luck!

Depends if you want to go back to sleep or not.
You could read, listen to an audio book or the radio or have a glass of milk if you want to go back to sleep.
If you want to stay awake have a cup of coffee or tea, go for a walk or surf the net (as you are aparently already doing)

meditate.... read..... watch tv..... write in a journal... work on the baby book.... or, if you have a camcorder, you could make videos for your child to watch at different ages.. tell them stories that your parents told you!
