I just wondered, b/c my baby always poops for the sitter, but rarely when I am home wiht him during the day? Is that wierd?

anyway babies poop alot

Could just be that your feeding schedules are different.

My son poops when he cries a lot. Like if he's crying himself to sleep, or he's angry about not getting his way. The stress of crying and carrying on makes him poop...

Maybe he cries more with the sitter than you?

no they are just like u and i.when they gotta go they gotta go..babies dont get stressed they have an impact on them to where they dont really feel stress until they hit a more mature age such a 1 or 2

Yes.

When stressed or 'anxious' catecholamines are released into our body which relax our anal sphincter (so you 'poop' or '**** your pants'). This reflex is even more active in infants and young children.

Also, your baby may be feeding more frequently too (in your absence) in which case his 'gastro-colic' reflex we make him 'poop' more often!
